Cynthia , the social worker called me and was very sweet and understanding. I rectified the situation quickly. Thank you Cynthia for taking the time to investigate this matter. I do however am going to file a former complaint against a certain nurse who works there as soon as I find out how to do so!!!!

Placed mom here to rehab after a fall. Very good rehab. But i discussed her diet with them before she came there and was assured they would feed her what she can eat. It never happened. Cold food every meal. Food she can’t eat every meal. Their food should be a lot better because they sure charge more than others. I guess they are lining their ceos pockets and saving money by starving patients. I tried to discuss this with director and kitchen supervisor. Nothing helped.

Wonderful facility! Very compassionate, sincere, loving & understanding. They look excellent care of my mother. It was so much better than I had even hoped for. Very professional, clean & organized. Absolutely nothing but positive things to say. I looked into a lot of other facilities and this was by far the best.

Everyone mentioned was so caring, loving & compassionate through such painful circumstances. Thank you all for going above & beyond! I would highly recommend Peak Resources Cherryville to anyone looking for care for a loved one. They were truly a God send.

PEAK of Cherryville is a beautiful community. It has a vibrant assistant living and Short term rehab and long term care. It’s full of energy and fun much like it’s administrator. Short term rehab is conducted in a well appointed gym Focusing on functional based therapy designed for faster outcomes and shorter stays. Not that you’ll want to leave.

Maternal grandmother was there, paternal grandmother is now there for the second time. Pretty happy. Better facility than others we have had to visit. Better staff. Wish they posted visiting hours conspicuously online. 8 to 8 as of 12/19 for anybody in the same boat.

If you love your family member, do not put them in this facility. It is a terrible place.

RUN AWAY FAST!!!  If you care anything about your loved one do not look here.  My grandmother was here for a year an a half and we are moving her this week.  She had a UTI and the nurse called her "crazy".  How insensitive is that?  If they get frustrated with you they will just hang up the phone on you.  Very professional right?  They give her and other patients benzodiazepines unnecessarily to sedate them when they don't want to deal with them.  I have told them I DO NOT want my grandmother sedated and I find out they give her Ativan and Valium anyway.  NOT happy!  The food is completely unacceptable for $7,000 a month.  They give your loved one's clothes to just any resident even if their name is in it.  And you can be assured that the staff will bring COVID in with them and spread it to your loved one as I've caught 2 nurses without masks on.  Yes nurses.  They can never seem to get that under control, yet they will continue to blame the residents for spreading COVID, yet the residents never  go out.  Hmmm.  There have been cases of abuse reported at this facility, yet administration just sweep it under the rug and act as if it nothing ever happened.  Go check out:  <a href="/redir?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.wbtv.com%2F2020%2F01%2F06%2Fconcerned-daughter-captures-elderly-mothers-nursing-home-abuse-hidden-camera%2F&amp;s=e46964a05486802ee92715b6166d7ab599b59237c4032fffa2b64f1a1fd723be" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">wbtv.com/2020/01/06/conc…</a>The pictures of this facility are from when it was first opened, these are not current.  The staff is like a revolving door, they cannot keep help there.  Again, RUN from this place as fast as you can!
