China Grove Family Medicine's Online Review Report Card

Very rude and unprofessional office. Very insensitive, DR Hudson was literally humming when I was telling her what was wrong with me, felt like she was judging me the whole time, didn't help me at all and than said I'm giving you this medicine and when I was going to ask questions, she left. I asked the nurse what kind of medicine they are giving me, she had no clue what it was or when/how i was supposed to take it, just told me to go pick it up. My pharmacy didn't even have anything called in. They never answer the phone. They just generally seem like they do not care. I would not recommend.

Definitely will be contacting the higher up. I could give a negative I would. My son and I have been a patient for about 3 years. At first it was great! BUT, I have been trying to get a script filled for about 6ish months they don't return phone calls 90% of the time. So they haven't given my pharmacist a call back and haven't answered the calls. I tried email and calling but they still didn't call my pharmacist... Another incident(tmi), I had contracted a yeast infection from antibiotics(dentist script) I called they said I can come in, in two days. Well at that point it's so bad, I'm starting to bleed and they have me do a urine then go home..... they still didn't script me anything. Then I found out about monostat so I took care of this issue myself.I've had to wait in the waiting room with my 3 year old son for 2 hours, 1 hour exc. Almost always an hour wait, not always that long but 90% of the appointmens, yes. The one 2 hour wait, they actually had NO IDEA WHY THEY SCHEDULED him?!?!? What?!?!?!?!??! Now to the last few weeks almost 2 months can't get them to call the speech therapist. My son is in speech therapy and has a posible diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech so his speech therapist wants to see how he will do in Occupational Therapy so need to get a referral. My sons speech therapist had called china grove family med many times the last FEW WEEKS I also called. Two weeks ago I had called and whomever I talked to said they would call and get it approved, well noone called. Shocking, I know. Today(8/31/2021) I called twice and emailed the portal(which is pointless because they never get back to me on there🙄). Anyways I still have not heard back all day from the drs office so I just drive there.... I explain EVERYTHING, I'm in tears because I'm so overwhelmed, frustrated and angry. Shortly after she took my sons info down she asks me to sit and wait which was okay but then after 10 mins of waiting I then go back up and told her I've waited months, I've been patient enough. She emailed the my situation to someone amd that was that... Well they still DIDN'T send the referral over!!!! Why can't they show more care for their patients.I guess wish me luck getting records switched to a new place because it'll probably take them a couple of months to do that too.

A great little medical office. Dr. Ava Hudson is relatively new to this location but after two visits with her, I believe she’s good...... She is no nonsense and sees many patients throughout the day........I witnessed some entitlement mindset by a young male patient who was irritated for waiting this morning...... I am age 52, a cancer survivor, and been going to medical facilities all of my life. Waiting is common in medical offices as events are dynamic and on certain days staffing is low. They aren’t preparing ones fast food, they’re looking closely at people who have medical needs. I appreciate this office.

Was a good option for my daughter. Paige was a attentive and caring Doctor as was the staff. But the staff has rolled over and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Young lady at the front desk is annoyingly indifferent. Avoid if you can. After 4 years we will find another provider.

Waiting 36 minutes. 36 minutes just to get checked for thrush due to an inhaler. Which the er said we should be able to call this place & they just send in a prescription. Think it may be time for a new doctor's office.

What A True Gem! (Seriously!)1. They will NOT Rush you! (a.They will listen to EVERY One of YOUR Concerns & Complaints!) (b.they will get Your Complete History) {this might mean you might have a wait, but it’ll be worth it!-remember, You, are paying for Their, time & expertise, not the other way around}.2. They will always follow up (a. You will not be forgotten by them)3. Most doctors are in house -So convenient! If you need referral, you could very well, see that other doctor, right in that office- awesome!So many advantages to seeing these, knowledgeable, experienced yet very caring (small-town) doctors, with the capabilities of big-hospitals, right here in China Grove! LOVE THEM!

I have been going here since 2014 after been hospitalized for Double pneumonia and COPD. Everyone there has always been really nice to me and made me feel comfortable

They are truely busy at times, but the staff have always treated me with kindness and respect and have always tried to be as prompt as possible, due to the flow of business. All the people that work here are pretty friendly!! 😊

Where to even begin. This place was not what we wanted from the get go. Medicaid messed up the doctors office. So since this place was what is on the card we figured we'd give it a shot. My mom's first appointment made was made wrong. Told them she was coming for a lot of reasonings (gave them every one) but because she has copd they put that as her reasoning. Although they were told she sees a lung doctor for that. She was waiting for 2 hours before being taken back on her very first appointment. Second appointment we was told would be to get my mom on anxiety and depression medication. Instead they had her see a therapist whom can not prescribe her anything at all. This place is a complete joke. Made her mental health even worse. The emergency room takes better care of their patients and what is needed for them than this place. 1 star is because 0 wasn't an option.
