Its refreshing to know that there is someone like Dr. Stadeum practicing. He is professional, caring and intelligent. His office staff is top notch and responsive. I always feel comforted when I walk in there. They are amazing!

I first met Dr. Stadiem about 8 years ago after having a heart attack in the Appalachian mountains. Until then, I wasn't much for seeing doctors. When I met him he looked at the list of medications I had been given at the hospital and commented that he took most of them to prevent what happened to me. That sense of humor sold me, and he has been my doctor ever since. He is encouraging, tells amusing stories, and definitely has a personal touch. Go doc! (By the way, I have SLOWLY been losing weight, now walk 13,000 steps a day, and though it took two years, strapped my backpack back on and covered that 32 mile stretch I had planned when I had the heart attack)

Since he moved to Duke Primary Care at Waverly Place, it's been almost impossible to get an appointment. After waiting three weeks, I was called a day before my appointment that he was "away". The level of concern and competence here is unacceptable. I recommend you go elsewhere for competent medical care.

A patient of Dr. Stadiem for many years. Has excellent reputation of knowing his medications, cares about whole family, never rushes, and there for my elderly parent and for family during crisis.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stadiem's for 22 years. He genuinely cares about your health and makes sure you get the best treatment for your illness. In recent years, he has been very adamant about not over-prescribing antibiotics, which is very refreshing. I don't like going to the doctor, but I love going in to see Dr. Stadiem. It will be a true loss when he retires, which I hope is a long time from now.
