Wake Forest Baptist Health's Online Review Report Card

A review that might help self pay patients—The staff here was very nice and very quick at diagnosing my daughter with an ear infection. We live out of town and this was super convenient. If you are self pay I would suggest using a different urgent care or fast med that has a clear office visit charge. After paying $100 upon arrival I was billed an additional $42 for this 15-29 minute visit. I absolutely understand paying more for labs or diagnostic tests. I questioned that code as we were face to face with both and nurse and the PA for less than 5 minutes total. I called and upon chart review the visit was 17 minutes as we were clocked in and out in their system. If this helps any self pay people I wish I would have known I was on the clock and I would have not chatted AT ALL and maybe you could ask to stop the clock while you are waiting in the exam room for the provider to arrive?! I am used to office visits code being based on severity of issues from our pediatrician. The lady I spoke with about this issue was also very nice but obviously she can’t do anything as you’re dealing with the giant of Wake Forest Baptist Health and she said there was no way to change the code.

How do i report this place for refusing care/service?

Went to this urgent care on Sunday morning.My experience was great.My wait time was reasonable.The PA I saw, Ali, had a great bedside manner.Highly recommend.

This place is amazing. They go above and beyond for their patients.

Went to UC yesterday to get a physical for school. The PA did NOT perform an exam. He looked at my chart, saw that I had "exercise induced anaphylaxis" listed as a differential from many years ago and decided he didn't feel comfortable clearing me for ONLINE courses. I do NOT have exercise induced anaphylaxis. I exercise outside EVERYDAY. Notes in myChart imply that he performed a physical exam, which he absolutely did not. It is FRAUDULENT to document something you did not do. Furthermore the note in my chart says that "given the nature of urgent care" I needed to have the exam performed by my PCP. The UC WEBSITE SAYS THEY DO SCHOOL AND SPORTS PHYSICALS. I love Wake Forest Baptist Health. I've been a patient at Baptist for over 9 years. I love Clemmons Urgent Care. I've had many positive experiences there. But this PA was a JOKE!

I called this urgent care less than an hour before they were supposed to close hoping they could see my boyfriend. He was diagnosed with COVID and not getting any better. The lady on the phone was very nice and told us we could rush over and be seen before closing. She sent us a confirmation text and told us to text back when we arrived and to stay in the car until someone came and got us. We arrived at 6:51 PM and I texted back letting them know we had arrived. A few seconds later I got a text stating we had been checked in. 10 minutes later we still had not seen anyone so I texted back asking if I should move my car somewhere else. No response. Finally the security guard came out. I told her why we were here and she asked us to move our car over a few spots, so we did. 45+ minutes later and still no one. I found the security guard and she told me all the providers had already left. I told her no one came to get us. She left to go see what happened and returned stating they had tried to call me at 6:57 PM but took us out of the system because I “did not respond”. I showed the guard my recent texts and phone calls showing her no one tried to contact me, and even where I tried calling the urgent care myself. The guard took a picture of my texts to show the staff the next day but I still have not heard back from anyone. We are very dissatisfied and disappointed with this facility. I understand mistakes happen but the lack of communication is very unprofessional. I would love to see proof where they tried to contact me. Now I know not to waste my time or money with places like this. We are not normal patients here and now never will be.

They were friendly...my experience was great

It was a great place!!! Nice people. And you don't have to wait too long. They help you with your needs and any other problems that you have. I am so satisfied with the work they do.Thank you GOD for this place, and for all the staff members there. Because they always working so hard, helping people.
