I’ve been a patient here for over two years and I don’t think I have a single negative thing to say about it. They sincerely care about your recovery here and they have nothing but professional, nice and kind people working here. I definitely recommend this treatment center to any suffering addict out there who is ready to start their road to recovery.

It's a great place. It might be strict but that's because they lose patients all the time to relaspe and overdose. They are trying to save your life and give you back good quality of life. It's worth it because they truly do care.

Anyone seeking help with their opiate addiction should definitely give BHG a try. They are nothing but professional and kind people who genuinely care about you and your recovery. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone starting their road to recovery.

Great place for treatment

Very friendly staff! I think the staff here are just wonderful. I used to go to a treatment center in Asheville that cost me $75 per week, plus I had to pay over $150 per week to the pharmacy because the clinic didn't hire anyone who could cooperate with Medicaid so I wasn't covered. That costs almost $1,000 per month which is more than I make, so I came here instead (I live closer anyway). I have found that, unlike half of the staff at the Asheville clinic (who could be extremely condescending, pretentious, mean, impatient, and who basically looked at and treated everyone like stupid worthless junkies), BHG staff are ALL invariably kind, friendly, caring, respectful, and overall just wonderful people.I do wish it was easier to get up to the dose I feel that I need to stay sane, and I do feel that the doctor is too conservative in that regard (hence four stars). At least he isn't unkind and condescending like the last one I had at Asheville Comprehensive, though.Someone else posted a bad review because they're mad that you have to go daily and often have to deal with unexpected/random drug tests and/or counselor meetings or other things that can come as a surprise, which I do understand (I mean, I hate having to go somewhere every single morning just for a medication) - but that's literally every single methadone clinic ever. So it's not like BHG is somehow unique in that regard. I don't find that they're any more inconvenient than any other clinic.The people who attend the clinic like myself are usually very friendly and nice people too, good mountain folks who just need help with a problem just like anyone else, and I wish people would assume that about them and us instead of judging them/us as junkies or as bad people. In fact, I saw a fellow patient returning someone's wallet they left in the waiting room, and despite the cameras, that still would be very unlikely to have happened in most places in this country, especially a place like this.Overall, I'd say it's the best place in the area to come to if you need help with an opiate chemical dependency and/or addiction issue. I still can't get over how kind and friendly and respectful all of the staff are!

Ppe piss poor experience they make it impossible to live a normal life

They are helping my wife to stop an ongoing drug problem. I'm so thankful to BHG.
