Broke my glasses. Another optical place in Waynesville couldnt help me. Said nothing they could do. I tried Mountain Eye and although my glasses couldnt be repaired they found a frame that would fit my existing lenses. They had me fixed back in business quickly staff was super nice. I was impressed with their service.

I had a horrible scare one night when my dog accidently clawed my eye and tore and lacerated my cornea. I went to the ER that night and Mountain Eye had me come in 1st thing the next morning. Dr. Causby was waiting at the front desk for me as I walked in. They took me straight back and took care of me with my pain. Her assistant was so nice and comforting as she talked me through what she was doing and really calmed me down because I was freaking out. Dr. Causby gave me the best care I could ever ask for. They had me come in everyday to check the progress and instructed me on the progress and what I needed to do to get me better. I cant say enough about Dr. Causby and her entire staff. My eye is completely healed and my vision is back to 100%. Very professional great at what they do and have my full support and recommendations

I have posted before. Its been over a week and still have no glasses. Ive made 3 or 4 calls. No call backs and Im tired of calling. I left my glasses there because I told them I cant see out of line bifocals and she said insurance already paid for them so they cant remake without any bifocal. So I guess those doctors need that insurance more than a senior citizen on a fixed income. Maybe they can go out to eat or keep taking from people which knows

Im very disappointed in the service I received. I being dibetic have my eyes check yearly for glaucoma. I went in role them that I was diabetic and to file with Humana Im diabetic. I pay my $45 copay and thats all Ive ever paid at Coy Browns which I regret not going back to him. So I get a bill in the mail that I owe them more money likee 30 more. Thats $75 for having my Glaucoma check. Well they did eye exam too. I always hq1ad that comp at Dr. Browns and now Im really upset with mountain Eye that they didnt tell me in advance that they would charge me $30 additional for my visit and that they would file it as a Assessment to get prescription eye wear. Im curious. I will never go back. I will keep my Dr. Brown as a good not cheating his customers out of more money. Being under a fixed income on disability as I am I dont have an extra $30 for what a bunch of rip offs. Dont go there and be ripped off. Especially not having my claim filled under diabetic really gets me. I told them on phone when I made appointment and when I went in the office to file it under diabetic. Boy good bye to them I will never step foot in the offices again

Staff is always helpful. Dr. Markoff is excellent and answers all questions. I completely trust his diagnostic and surgical skills. Dr. Jerazi is also pleasant and thorough. Support staff very helpful. Sometimes wait times are a bit long but worth the wait for quality eye care.
