I have been a patient of Dr. Claxton Baer's for approximately four years now. Dr. bear takes time to explain all procedures and testing. He makes himself available during visits to completely explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. I would highly recommend Dr. Baer. And is his staff is absolutely amazing.

Fifteen months ago I had an accident that should have blinded my right eye forever. I've had 4 surgeries with 3 surgeons from Cabarrus Eye Center since and they saved my eye and my vision. All of the staff at CEC are amazing. Dr. Baer may be one of the kindest people I know. He went the extra mile for me--staying late, coming in early to see me several times a week for a long time. He is so meticulous and thoughtful. Throughout this adventure, we have dealt with just about everybody in their office. They are all wonderful. Drs. Baer, Lark, Robinson, and Harper each contributed their special expertise and worked together for over a year to bring me from total blindness in my right eye to 20/20 vision against all odds and I will be forever grateful to everyone at the Cabarrus Eye Center. You cannot find a better retina specialist anywhere. I don't know why anybody would deal with the traffic in Charlotte, Durham , Chapel Hill or Winston Salem when the best doctors are in Concord

this doctor and staff are top notch. what can I say, I owe them my sight.at 63 loosing my vision from diabetic problems is a scary thought. I am so thankful for the treatment and care I receive there
