Fifteen months ago I had an accident that caused my eye to burst open and should have blinded my right eye forever. I have since had 4 surgeries with 3 surgeons from Cabarrus Eye Center and everyone there is wonderful. Dr. Lark got me into surgery within 2 hours of the accident and put my eye, which was a mess, back together. I am in awe of his work. He went the extra mile for me, seeing me several times a week for many weeks. Dr. Lark, Dr. Harper, Dr. Baer, and Dr. Robinson worked together beautifully over the last year and 3 months--each contributing his own expertise--to bring me from total blindness to almost 20/20 vision even though at times it seemed hopeless. Their entire staff from the front office to the technicians and assistants are friendly and professional. I felt like I was in good hands and I will be forever grateful. I don't know why anybody would fight the traffic in Charlotte or anywhere else when we have the best eye doctors here in Concord.

In the last fifteen months, I have had an experience with Drs. Harper, Lark, Baer, and Robinson and their entire staff that should win them all awards.  I had a crazy accident that caused my right eye to actually burst open and fill with blood.  We thought I had lost that eye forever.  We bypassed the ER and went straight to CEC where the entire staff jumped into action.  Dr. Harper, my regular ophthalmologist called Dr. Lark in immediately.  They consulted with Dr. Baer, who was out of town, on the phone and they included my wife and me in their discussion.  My wife, a nurse, was so impressed by the level of collaboration we saw there.  That, in itself, was a confidence builder. Just less than 2 hours from the time of the accident, Dr. Lark had me in surgery putting my eye back together.  Along the way, I needed a vitrectomy and a lens implant-- 4 surgeries in all. We are so fortunate to have so many highly trained surgeons- each contributing his/her own area of expertise-right here in Concord.  And their assistants and front office are the best.My doctors went the extra mile for me. They gave me their home numbers.    They called to check on me.   They knew we were worried so they saw me almost daily for a long time. Drs. Robinson and Baer arranged to do surgery at night after long days in the office so both could be there to work together.  The teamwork among the staff at all levels was amazing and their kindness has been comforting. I could see that they were all doing their best for me. After the third surgery, the doctors said that they were afraid there was little hope that my vision would recover.  The next day, however, I saw light, shadows, and even color for the first time!  Two months ago, Dr. Robinson implanted a new lens in my eye which improved my vision greatly, and this week I was fitted for new glasses that will bring my vision back to 20/20 in both eyes!!  We will forever sing the praises of Cabarrus Eye Center.  Locke Floyd, Concord, NC

Ive been seen by Dr Lark since 2004. Hes kept my glaucoma under control . Everyone should be seen by him.

The best eye Dr. I have visited

Without a doubt, the rudest doctor I have ever met. He arrived an hour late to my sceduled appointment, gave a brief hostile exam and an even more uninformative diagnosis. Please do not waste your time with this doctor. You will leave scared, confused and EXTREMELY angry by his demeanor and lack of helpfulness
