Dr. Stowell was in the room less than 2 min. and was very dismissive of my son’s issue. He is not good with children and he didn’t even look at my son’s adenoids, which is why we were sent in the first place. He made us feel as though we were wasting his time. Very disappointed in this experience.

Dr. Stowell performed surgery on me for a Cochlear Implant. We were given false information as to which ear would be best for the implant, had several problems after procedure and ended up going to Duke where they inserted another Cochlear implant. Would not recommend.

My kind if guy - Direct and to the point. No one wants to have surgery, but when you do, you want great hands and candid answers to your questions. My hearing was restored after an ear drum rupture. Prior to surgery I was considering early retirement because I couldn’t hear my patients. He gave me my life back and I can’t thank him enough. Drew Ball, PT, DPT, PhD, OCS

Dr Stowell was kind and to the point. All the staff are friendly, easy to schedule appointments. Definitely appreciate the help I received.

One of the worst doctors. He rushes you and he maybe spends 5 minutes with. He doesn’t hear anything you say to him. I tried to give some grace after the first appointment, tried his solutions…months later at a follow up I told him I was still having severe sinus issues. He prescribed another pill and said to follow up in a year! Ridiculous! Doesn’t even want to help his patients resolve their problems. Very dismissive and arrogant. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to him. The staff at the office are also very rude. Over a year of trying his “solutions” with no improvement. Finally went to another provider who actually listened and Is getting me what I needed to start living normally again.

The man saved my life. No, I don’t mean I would have died had it not been for him but rather he gave me my hearing back. When I first went in I was legally deaf on both sides with my right having profound deafness and my left severe to profound. Thanks to his professional expertise the cochlear implant he installed has restored my hearing levels to normal for my age. I had word comprehension ...

I’m still in shock writing this, this man was so dismissive, with an I don’t care attitude. Basically made me feel as if what I was feeling was made up. And the way he walked out the room, like I’m done here, type attitude. But I should have known because when I was walking to my room with the assistant he looked up at me and basically rolled his eyes. When I saw him walk in my room after and I realized he was the same doctor, I honestly should have known it wasn’t going to be a good visit. I was so hurt by this experience. God bless you sir, whatever demons you’re struggling with I hope you heal from it. I wish I could have given you a 0, sad part is nothing will come out of it. You will sit in this profession and continue to do the same thing to others.
