Dr. Detlev Erdmann was the 4th surgeon I visited to repair an old, poorly done hernia repair that left me with a weak core and excess skin that could not be exercised away; Dr. Erdmann was the first of all of the providers I visited to validate my concerns and apply his knowledge and skill set to actually repair the issue internally and aesthetically. Dr. Erdmann exceeded my expectations for a a job well done. I heard him verbally instruct his team in the pre-op care he expected for me to receive, he gave me clear realistic expectations for the procedure results, and he explained the procedure in easy to understand language at my post-op visit. My incision/scar is almost unnoticeable, even, and precise. I would recommend Dr. Erdmann to anyone for their surgical needs- medical, cosmetic, or some combination as mine was.

Dr. Erdmann focuses on reconstructive surgery and is the best at it. I would recommend anyone that can have him as their surgeon to do so. He is not only very knowledgeable and skilled but is also kind and personable. Dr. Erdmann has an immense passion for helping people and is a great addition to any medical care team.
