MIndpath Care Centers's Online Review Report Card

I appreciate my therapist working with schedule. She is a joy to work with. If we experience a technical issue with our Telehealth conference the MP team is resourceful and gets red us reconnected right away. I'm happy to have been referred by Dr. Patel of Tru-City Family Medicine.

Dr Yvonne Monroe misdiagnosed and wrongly medicated me for over 4 years, resulting in serious physical, psychological and emotional damages. My health deteriorated to the point that I was almost dead - severely underweight, unable to walk, unable to drive, etc - when I left her practice. In my last meeting with her, she actually tried to blame another psych, who I had not seen for approximately 6 years, for her mistakes. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and am going to file a complaint with the State, as well, if Mind Path does not refund my money and pay me for the damages that Dr Monroe caused. Several noted neurologists and psychiatrists at Duke and UNC have states that Dr Monroe was grossly negligent in prescribing those meds for that long, which resulted in severe damages to my health and quality of life. Do not trust Dr. Monroe with your life. I also seriously doubt the professional judgement of ANY Mind Path Care Provider because they do know badly that practice was managed over the last 5-10 years when it was owned and managed by Dr Monroe.

Obviously, all the 5 star reviews were either paid for, bots, or at least 5 years ago. They do not provide ANY way of reaching your assigned provider either through leaving a message or email. They claim a way of reaching your provider is through their POS "portal", but if you are not an Iphone user, you are well and completely... After (4+ times) calling and waiting over 30 min AND THEN HUNG UP ON I have had it with this obscenity of a medical provider.

As someone who has found in person meetings to be somewhat intimidating, online meetings with my therapist has actually allowed me to be more open and comfortable during my sessions. Scheduling my appointments has never been a problem either.

I have really enjoyed remote counseling. I was really struggling with challenges brought on by COVID and decided to sign up for counseling. Victoria Fahnestock does an amazing job and helping you work through things going on in your life. She has provided me with exercises that I will use through the rest of my life to relieve stress. I really appreciate working with her and would highly recommend MindPath Care Centers.

I have been seeing the PA Hilary Boydston for several years. She is a real gem- nonjudgmental, kind, smart, and creative. She has helped me, without hesitation, with every problem or request I have given her. She is very comforting and encouraging. I don't see her as often as I'd like because I keep ended up without health insurance, and she has also been understanding about that. I think there are so few reviews because of the stigma of admitting to taking care of ones mental health; but I wanted to leave a quick review anyway because she is one of the best medical providers I have ever seen and deserves some stars.

DO NOT GO HERE. Their administration and billing departments are either willfully ignorant or extremely disorganized. Despite the fact that they had all of my insurance information on file (which they admitted in their response to my formal complaint), both the office and my therapist, Dr. Pietrapaolo, told me that my insurance would cover my visits when it didn't cover ANYTHING. I asked multiple times, since my plan was a little confusing and my insurance company told me to ask the specific office - and every time, they told me I was covered and I would not have to pay anything. Then, FOUR MONTHS after my last appointment, they finally send me a notice letting me know, oops, sorry, actually you do owe us - you owe us $1,020.00! That is not an oops, that is an unethical and badly run business. When I submitted a formal complaint, they completely refused to take responsibility for their actions, and because my family doesn't have the means to take them to court, we will have to pay the bill; not to mention, that customer service was rude and unapologetic to me whenever I called. I repeat, do not go here.

Had to find a new therapist after my doctor unexpectedly passed away, my insurance company recommended Carolina Behavorial Care where I made an appt with Dr Spencer Simon. Been his patient since last year until this past month when he announced he was moving his practice to Greensboro! Was anxious about seeing once again a different doctor, Dr. Taylor with whom I had my first appointment with today. Caring, easy to talk to & open up about my mental health issues, professional and compassionate. I follow up with her in a month as currently my stress & anxiety are worse than normal due to many personal situations. Hopefully things will turn back to normal as the numerous things will go away or subside. Friendly, kind office staff, public restrooms, free Wi Fi, parking and wheelchair accessible. Call for further in network benefits, new patients appointments. Hours 8 am to 5pm Monday through Friday, closed Saturday and Sunday.

I've been seeing a therapist at the New Hope Court office for several years and have had nothing but positive experiences. The office manager is always so friendly and my therapist is the best. She literally changed my life and helped me to grow as a person. The office is nicely decorated and very welcoming. I LOVE this place and couldn't recommend it enough!
