Booked an appointment through labcorp, showed up and the office was closed due to inclement weather.I received no notice, email, call, etc. An employee inside walked up with a piece of paper saying “closed” and repeated “we’re closed” several times. When I said I had an appointment she just said “we’re closed.”I’m just annoyed that I didn’t get any notice and that the employee didn’t even say “sorry about the inconvenience” or something.Also, the ice storm was yesterday and the roads are clear now. So it’s like why close today?Frustrating.

This office was excellent pre-COVID. However, now the doctors do not seem as knowledgeable. Most of the information I received could have been found with a quick Google search, and I am pretty much left to treat myself or find a doctor elsewhere.

I have been a patient here for several years. The compassion and professionalism demonstrated by the reception staff, sleep study clinic, Psychologist, Nurses Mary & Cheryl, the M.A.'s, Drs. Kirk & Scagnelli, medical records & lab corp staff is the absolute best.I can't say enough positive things about the Durham staff. The phone & IT portal, meh...not so much, but the staff are incredible and extremely knowledgeable. I can have a bad day and they always maintain a calm, professional and kind demeanor. The staff also exhibits an appropriate sense of humor to make the patient experience so much better. The schedulers always go above and beyond to accommodate the patient needs. I've worked in oncology for over 20 years, from Universities to private clinics and I notice a lot. Specifically how patients are treated. Everyone here takes hospitality and patient care to a higher level. They take responsibility and always try their very best and invest of themselves to make the patient experience as pleasant and non-threatening as possible. Neurologic conditions can be frightening and full of anxiety and this staff works as hard as anyone I've ever known to be supportive and calm those anxieties. It's a privilege to receive my care here.

Always had pleasant experiences both here at Durham office where i see the sleep specialist and in Raleigh at the main office.

I obtained a referral from my Primary Care doctor at UNC Campus Health. When scheduling the appointment, the scheduler acknowledged that I had been seen back in 2002 and I would have to be seen as a new patient. Months later, when I was able to be seen, I informed the RNA that she handed me a child form. I am 21 years old, something the scheduler knew. At this moment, I had already paid the copay and was informed that I could not be seen today because of the scheduling error. Not only had I waited months for an appointment, I drove 30 minutes for the appointment. In this moment, they refunded my copay and allowed me to speak to the manager on the phone. As I was questioning the manager (Nicole) about compensation for this carelessness, she informed me that they do not normally compensate for these errors. In this moment, she lied on the phone and told me that she did not have the name of the scheduler. She also refused contact information for the supervisor. She only provided me a name and said that they would reach out to me. I specifically asked for the name of the scheduler multiple times and she claimed that she did not have it. When I informed Nicole that the front lady at the office did, she then quickly said the name of the scheduler. She had lied. The management of a place says a lot about the practice.

After his sleep study last night, they put my son out of their office this morning in 40-degree windy rain, nearly an hour earlier than I was told, without finding out whether he had a ride, and locked the door behind him. He was not dressed appropriately for the weather outside. He is 20 years old, and does not drive as a consequence of the neurological disorder for which he is being evaluated there. He is on the Autism spectrum, and finds it quite difficult to ask for help. The sleep study was last night (Friday 12/14/18). I was supposed to pick him up this morning (Saturday 12/15/18) at 0730. At 0640, he texted and then called me to say he was done and ready to be picked up. I live 45 minutes away. He walked around in the storm until I got there at 0730. He was soaking wet and shivering.I found this pretty outrageous, so I called the after-hours call service at 0731. The incompetence I found there provided some comic relief. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude, and hung up on me when I asked for her name. I called back at 0735 and asked to speak with a supervisor. She put me on hold for about 30 seconds and then came back on the phone talking in a funny voice. I laughed out loud, and she hung up on me again.Had I been able to reach anyone at Raleigh Neurology Associates, I would have explained all of this directly to them instead of posting this review.

Beware ...this office refuses to treat patients with concussions from a car accident.

This practice has been treating my MS for 19 years. I trust them impeccably. Can't say enough great things they do. All the paperwork they have filled out for me is way beyond the call. Recommend them totally.
