Of course anyone contemplating any type of surgery would be apprehensive, especially so when it comes to your eyes. From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted and treated with what I considered a true concern. Dr. Swarup was attentive and personable. He went over the procedure and patiently took the time to answer all of my questions. Rather than bounce in the room and run right back out, as some doctors do, he made me feel as if I was his main concern at that moment. Although I have yet to have my surgery, I feel at ease in knowing that I am in the hands of an extremely experienced and compassionate provider.

I had cataracts in both eyes. Dr. Swarup did an amazing job on bringing my vision back. Can drive at night with no problem now and read all the signs perfectly again. Recommend him highly.

I am having an appointment with new ophthalmologist in Fl. He is so impressed with my 20/20 perfect vision after cataract surgery. He asked who and where I had this done. Dr Swarup is very skilled and I’m glad he did my surgery. . His scheduling person was less than professional and difficult to work with. Others in office, Dr Klugh, his staff and front office area have always been wonderful. We appreciate all done for us over the years there.

The doctor seems very nice, however he only spent about 7 minutes with me out of the 4 hours I sat in his office waiting. He literally rushed in and out so fast that I never got a chance to ask him any questions.

Dr. Swarup is very skilled, explains things well, has good bedside manner, patient. I have liked the ophthamologists at the Edenton office, but feel that Dr. Swarup is just as personable, and I really like the woman tech at that office, Soria. I have dreaded going to eye appts in the past, but Soria is so gentle and kind that I have no worries. I'd recommend her and Dr. Swarup to anyone I know..

Today, I opened the local lackofnews paper. They made certain to print an article about Dr. Swarup settling a lawsuit. This Dr. and gentleman has restored the vision to perfect, or near perfect, to SO many patients. For me, I don't care if he got to go fishing at the expense of a lens provider. The man deserves some time of enjoyment after bringing so many miracles of vision to his many patients. This doctor did nothing wrong or unusual in the medical profession. Thank you Dr. Swarup and staff.
