I was a patient of Dr. Byrd's while I was pregnant in 2015. 24 weeks in, I began having strange abdominal pain on a Sunday night. I consulted with the web and with mom friends, who ultimately convinced me that my pain was not normal and to call my on-call. Dr. Byrd. Big mistake. She was annoyed by my call, even going as far to say "you mean to tell me that you called because of something you read?!" Offered no medical advice at all. Then failed to put my phone call in my chart. I switched ASAP

Dr. Byrd is an amazing female doctor. I have and will continue to recommend her. I was her patient for many years before she moved to North Carolina. She is missed.

I've been going to Dr Byrd since 2008,she is a kind,awesome,Dr and a human being who really cares about you! I am going to really miss her when she moves down South! Our Loss is North Carolina's Gain! Also Thanks. To All the Ladies up front at the Desk who were awesome and kind, answering questions,they knew your name, made you feel welcome. GOOD LUCK LADIES! Dr. Byrd is one of the few doctors who put you at ease with her warm smile the moment she sets eyes on you. She takes the anxiety and fear out of whatever you're dealing with. She is very kind and takes the time to explain all you options and help you make the right decision. I never felt rushed and was very prompt in responding to my numerous phone calls. I recently had a major surgical procedure which was very successful.

On my very first visit to this doctor she was rude and unprofessional. Her comment to me was "Stand up straight" referring to my posture. Also, if your medical coverage only allows you to have an exam every 2 or 3 years, that office requires you to sign up all over again as a new patient. Most of the time I went there for exams I did not even have the doctor examining me, it was some other assistant.
