Dr. B has been my psychiatrist since 2016 and has always made time for me when I have needed it and we have always discussed things fully. He listens well and he makes sure I understand what he intends for me to do and works with me in deciding exactly what that will be as well.

This is by far the best place I have been for my anxiety and depression. He is very knowledgeable and great with finding the right medications and dosages. He is really easy to talk to. The whole staff is very friendly. I've been going there for years. I would highly recommend this place!

I was seen by this Dr, if that's what you want to call him, one time. I have tried for over a year to get an appointment to have my meds refilled, and every time I call I get a voicemail. I have left over 50 messages over the past year, and have never received a call back. I have been without my meds this entire time. I would not recommend this Dr to my worst enemy. He does not take time to listen to you, just automatically says what he thinks is wrong with you. He treated me as if I was there to seek benzos. And that was one of the first things he brought up during my first and only appointment. I have a severe panic and anxiety disorder and all he would give me for anxiety was Vistaril which is basically a high powered Benadryl. Then he put me on Wellbutrin and Ability for my depression and bipolar disorder. This Dr is a complete joke. Please take serious consideration before seeing this man.

I have never had a psych that listened to my concerns as little as he did. He barely even spoke to me and decided the medications that I was on were wrong for me (one was but any psych in their right mind would notice that) but the other was necessary and I was having no issues with it. He disagreed with my previous diagnoses and medicated me based off his 15 minute conversation with me so I was given a medication that was terrible for my condition. I have no idea how anyone could have a good experience with him if he treated everyone the way he treated me. Save your money and mental wellbeing and go to Winston Salem for a psychiatrist...

Dr. B and the whole staff have been great to me since day one. Jordan is a great counselor. They are easy to talk to and care about your treatment. God bless them all.

He is the worst excuse for a psych Dr. I have ever seen. His answer to everything is that you need to be therapeutic with the patient. He does not have a sense of reality!

This MD and support staff are of poor quality and know how. I'd rather go see a witch doctor as I would have received better care.

Dr. Bourgeois is the best. He is very caring and listens very well. He really wants to help you. He has helped me so very much. He is very personal and professional. The office staff is wonderful at their jobs and very friendly.

I've been seeing Dr. B for around 2 years now and he has been a very good listener. He works with me in dealing with my mental illnesses, not simply talking and actings entirely upon his own thoughts- something only 1 other psychiatrist I have had has done. It helps immensely for me, given I have been dealing with bipolar 1 for around 25 years now and it is nice to be listened to when it comes to dealing with it. Actually having him take my suggestions seriously, instead of simply writing them off as has happened to me before.

He's the best doctor I've ever had. He listens to you and works with you on what your treatment plan should be. He comes across as very sincere. I love the whole office, Tonya, Erin, Jordan and Dr. Bourgeois. I'm so thankful to find a wonderful psychiatrist in Elkin.
