List of Robert G. Peterson's Reviews
Dr Peterson is my absolute favorite physician in the world. He is first and foremost KIND. He explains every procedure before hand. His office staff is top notch. Would recommend him highly!
Excellent experience! Very attentive and explains perfectly! Staff extremely nice. Beautiful office. He even called my mom with results himself!!!!
Greatest doctor and staff anywhere. Great bedside manner. Greatest surgeon. He has preformed surgery on both our family in the past. He’s the best!!!! Dr. Peterson
From the beginning to end Dr. Peterson was so professional, he informed me of every step in my procedure. There was no surprises. The comfort and care he gives is a blessing to all.
He was in no rush to hurry and get to the next patient. He took time to listen & talk to me about my condition.. The staff was very friendly & polite
An awesome Doctor. Would recommend him to anyone/everyone!!!
Very nice, concerned, friendly, helpful and everything I could wish for my surgeon. Any future surgies I have will be done by Peterson! Well pleased with before and after surgery appointments.
As posted, he is very abrupt. He is intelligent and a good surgeon. My c6-7 fusion went well. His approach was conservative. I ended up with another fusion, but only because he opted for the minimal is best approach. His office is as brief as he is.
He is rather blunt- not a lot of coddling, but he is up to date on procedures, something many of his peers are not. He is a very skilled surgeon. I have had pituitary surgery (2004) and Lower back surgery (2009) and both went very well. I highly recommend him as a surgeon.
Dr. Robert Peterson completed a MRI on my lowerback where a menegious cell is found. He explained that I needed a simple surgery that I would recover from quickly. I had the surgery and contracted pseudomonas meningitis. I was not informed about the meningitis until asking a nurse. This surgery caused 2 more minor back surgeries at LDS Hospital. Later I was found to still have meningitis still. I was placed on antibiotics by the U of U and needed 1 major back surgery to remove a tumor in the sacral area that held the meningitis and caused cysts (removed) along my spine w/ meningitis at the U of U. This surgery has caused me loss of balance, memory loss, and also the placement of 2 shunts since the cysts on my spine blocked the ventricles in my head. I have had a total of 18 surgeries including the 3 eye surgeries b/c of the shunts. I was released from Dr. Peterson's office stating that I was clear of meningitis but instead found out I still had it n later would need more surgeries.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
