I was transferred from CCH hospital in Sanford to Cape Fear Valley hospital 🏥 in late November 2023 The physicians in attendance were puzzled over the sudden pain and illness which overtook me Thank God for this awesome hospital. The doctors are surgical teams and nurses were most pleasant and professional and words can hardly describe these wonderful people who saved my life. How do you thank people who saved your life? All I can say is that God bless you all for the wonderful job and I love you very much. May your efforts to help All patients bring good rewards in this world and in the other world (for those who believe in heaven) I love you Cape Fear Valley hospital 🏥.

I was admitted to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center through the Adult ED on 10-16-23. After several scans/tests, it was determined that my gallbladder was nasty with inflammation, infection, cysts, etc. & needed to be removed. On 10-18-23, I had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) performed by surgeon Joel Horowitz, MD. I visited Dr. Horowitz's office for follow-up appointments at Cape Fear Valley General Surgery - Village Surgical. Everyone there was nice and helpful. And by the way, I was ecstatic to have my drain tube removed in office 1-week post-op. Although necessary, having the drain tube was the worst part of the entire experience. All Cape Fear Valley Medical Center staff that cared for me were competent & wonderful, from triage to admission to surgery to discharge. I couldn't have asked for a better experience & outcome. I would recommend Cape Fear Valley Health System to anyone needing medical care.
