List of Cape Fear Valley- Health Pavillion North Express Care's Reviews
Very unprofessional here and not helpful at all. I was asked what I wanted them to do for me in a very unprofessional way after telling them what was going on. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. The only good service I received was from the front desk lady and a nurse. Didn’t even get visited by the doctor.
HORRIBLE! Charged me a co-pay as an urgent care, but my bill came back as an ER visit! Called to get it resolved and they said it was in review and would let us know and not to pay. THEY SENT US TO COLLECTIONS! They are shady and dishonest!!!!!!!!!
This review is specifically for the express care on the side of the building. My husband and I have always come here because of the fast and good service but that has drastically changed. I had just come about 4 weeks ago with my my children (infant and 10 year old) and my nanny and got in no problems and was even given a separate waiting room for the baby and come today after waiting outside to be told that I cannot be seen because my children are with me? So now we are denying single parents health care because they have their children with them. This is honesty a joke, I thankfully have surrounding family that could theoretically help watch my children but what about the thousands of parents who are by themselves and can’t afford a babysitter or daycare? They just shouldn’t see a doctor now because they have children. Do better.
This location is misleading and I HIGHLY suggest seeking care somewhere else. You’re billed separately one for the physician & for use of facility. But after further reviewing my bill I seen triple charges for “time”. They will make you wait longer to to charge you for the time you’re in the facility. It’s December & I’m still dealing with a visit from June. I contacted Customer Relations because I felt I was scammed & even they agreed upon their investigation.
I am so frustrated, I walked in at 11am, did not get documents handed to me to fill out until 2 pm after a 40 minute wait my vitals were checked and I was instructed I would still have to return back to the waiting room. When directed to come to the back it is now 5 pm. I have yet to be seen by a doctor or nurse. This is outrageous “Express Care” but no sense of urgency. Nurses are not helpful spending their time talking, eating and laughing. Paperwork was not completed correctly or completed at all. Also, service is priced as if you went to the hospital. I ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO COME HERE
Scheduled an appt for two weeks out. 1 week out they sent a reminder for it. Then the day before the appt they sent another one. I arrive for the appt and they said it's been cancelled.
No one to answer the phone , everyone out of place and doesn’t know their own numbers around the building .
Thank you to everyone working this morning at the Express Care!
Care was sufficient and didn’t have to wait long. Friendly staff. However, they are pretty much running a scam. It says Express Care. It’s not how they bill. They charge a facility visit and from the provider you see. They also charge as an emergency room. 20min visits cost me 540 dollars after insurance. They charged 490 some dollars for a rapid strep test and for a culture swab and 190 dollars for general emergency visit in which I feel I did not receive emergency care. I would recommend an urgent care for urgent care and not Cape Fear Valley. They are crooks.
I showed up w my 18 yr old son and the front desk staff (Marie) immediately told me to wait outside since I was not the patient and my son the patient was an adult. I tried to ask a few questions and Marie would just point to a sign on the desk that read ‘due to space we ask non patients to wait out side’. I asked for a supervisor and she told me that I ‘did not need to speak to anyone, just read!’ Marie was rude and inconsiderate, she even started helping another customer behind me as I was asking questions completely dismissing my questions and concerns. My son is 18 but still in school and though very independent that is not the case in the rare occasion he needs medical care. Nevertheless, Marie never gave us an opportunity to see your other staff, who I’m sure would have been great. She just shut the door on any opportunity and was rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful. I cannot imagine the customers you are losing because of your Marie and Marie type employees.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
