Was there Friday and then on Sunday. Different day different people,PA's and doctors and nurses. Guess what it does not matter which day you go, you will be Welcomed with GREAT ATTITUDE, GENTLE CARING and the BEST People in their fields. Don't like going but if I must,I choose WAKEMED Garner

Everyone was really amazing and provided great care.

I am from out-of-town, so not knowing where to go locally, we came to WakeMed Garner ER. We were very pleased with the services we received there. Due to ongoing heath issues for 40+ yrs, I have been in many different ERs. We would rate this one right at the top. All of the people that served us were professional & extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended! Thank you!

P.A. John Krogh is a very good medical professional. He reassured me my procedure would be fine, and it was,wasn’t bad at all,actually does better than most.

I came in at 4:30am with a kidney stone. I was in extreme pain and feeling pretty horrible. I had no wait time, the front desk was efficient and compassionate. The nurses were so helpful and did their best to speed things along so I could see the doctor. Dr Rosenbaum was excellent, compassionate and knowledable. Overall excellent experience and I am thankful for their care!

Dr. Avery was very thorough and attentive. She explained the course of treatment and referred me for an x-ray. My x-ray was performed in a timely manner. I was very pleased with the follow-up from my doctor.

My visit was rather good considering it is the emergency room. On a Saturday night, it was kind of back but that did not stop the nurses from making a judgment call when it came to making sense. There were no rooms to place me when it was my turn to have a room so I was on the side of a wall with 6 other patients with dividers in between us. It back to the point that I was placed in the back hallway next to the door where the ambulance entered. However, the nurses and the on-call physician were very professional and attentive except for one nurse. This is why I took away two stars because her bedside manners were unacceptable PERIOD!!

Went to Wake Med Garner E.R. for acute back pain. Everyone was courteous and professional as usual. Treating PA suggested X-rays of lower back which were done and read at the same facility. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

-The Ultra Sound Tech did not go over the issue at hand or the place that it was hurting- The doctor assumed it's a nerve issues- Did not asked if I wanted a referral for a primary care doctor- Listed (leg issues) when it was just my calf!!- One doctor and one nurse on a Friday night- Very clean and rooms were large- Good privacy- Well maintainedI went in this hospital at 9:30pm checked in and waited in waiting room until 1:30am, I left the hospital at 2:45am! I understand more people who are in worse shape, but a 4 hour wait just in the waiting room! Yet, came to find out the 4 hour wait was due, because of 1 doctor and 1 nurse on a Friday night.I went in for a calf pain, and did a doppler for clots...when the ultra sound tech US did her orders, she did not go anywhere on my calf. I came in with a calf problem, not my whole leg. I had to ask her to look at it. I know clots is flow of the blood, but I came in with a calf issue.I went in saw the dr. and they did their tests. The doctor asked "do I have a primary care" I said "no". I also came in on a Friday 9pm, so even if I had a primary care doctor, I still wouldn't be able to see that Doctor anyway.The doctor automatically referred me to WakeMed Primary Care with out even asking, if I needed one! I do have a doctor I just prefer not to say him, because he's a functional/holistic medical view. On top of that I stopped going to WakeMed Primary, because of how rude the doctors are to their patience's and the staff!

I’m doing this review in the waiting room, because I’m here more than two hours waiting. Other people just pass in front of me. I decided to leave but they said I’ll be charged any way just because they already get my blood pressure!!!
