Excellent experience with Dr. Bonar and his staff for many years. He listens and he and his staff are very attentive to my needs.

Can't understand Dr Bonar bc of his strong accent&wearin 3 masks which is ridiculous I take my daughter to help whe can't understand him alot neither I asked him to write instructions bc I have dementia

Dr Bonar and his staff are wonderful !!!! He's very blunt...but is kind in doing so. Very refreshing to have a doctor that is not judgemental and truly cares about his patient.

honestly I didn't even want to put a one star on this one. I moved here from Tucson Arizona and this is where my mother went for 20 years for her hypothyroidism she recommended him. Come to find out after going there for 20 years he just checks TSH rebels pretty much which isn't completely accurate and we all know that. He has never once checked TPO, IGE, IGA or IGG levels which are important I was so shocked by this I cannot believe what I was hearing. Without them test I would have never known I had Hashimoto's disease.This is a doctor who said gluten free and keto is bad and we all know that thyroid disease patience should avoid gluten, dairy and soy because it inflames the thyroid gland. There is plenty of information online about this. He also doesn't listen to his patients and he never gives you a copy of your test results which is weird. I do not recommend I do recommend doctors in Charlotte there better.

Dr Bonar and the staff are a great fit for my needs. I really like how compassionate and non judgemental he us. He takes the time to explain my progress, test results and outlook. I also use My Chart, all my test results are online whenever I want to see them.I've never left the office feeling unsure of what we discuss.

Was refered to them by pcp.. 2 months later i am still waiting for referal person to check if dr will see me for my conditions. Staff are disorganized and dont call you back. I canceled it all and asked to speak to the office manager, that person never called me back either, just like the rest of the office.. avoid this cluster at all cost... horrible people... this is what you get when they are the only choice in gaston county..

i was referred by my PCP to them. i asked them if the DR will be able to see me for both my conditions and was told they would check. 2 moths later they requested another referral from my PCP. 2+months and i still have no answer if they will be able to see me for both my conditions. after several unanswered voice messages over 2+ months, i cancelled my appointment and asked to speak with the office manager. and still no call back from the manager. horrible office, incompetent staff. i can only imagine how bad being a patient with them would be. no respect for others..

Support staff is sub-par, making it difficult to get refills, make/change appts, or call even during business hours and reach someone. They often have their phone message as "closed."
