List of Carolina Urology Partners: Gaston's Reviews
The first nurse that came into the room was a bit abrasive. I heard her get into a cursing match with the provider right before my procedure. The provider did a great job of making me comfortable however after both visits, I feel that he did not take the necessary time to understand my concerns and conduct a thorough visit. After my procedure, he ultimately rushed out of the room and I had to seek him out to understand what his diagnosis was after the procedure and what I needed to do next. After two total visits that were combined not longer than 10 minutes, I am stuck with hundreds of dollars worth of balance and no further clarity or understanding of my condition. Of course, this will be my last time ever visiting a Carolina Urology location.
The nurses in the triage are very disrespectful and not sympathetic after having a GOLF ball size kidney stone removed. And used Dr Lees name as the reason. Very uneducated and classless trash
They spend the time to let you know what is going on
Dr Penangotti is great but it’s the only thing I can say good about this place. You can easily tell everyone there would rather be somewhere else whether it’s the front desk staff or the nurses. I’ll bet they’d rate their employer a one star. Few of the front staff are nice but others have a frown on their face. They need to get mystery shoppers to rate their visits good and bad. I’ve seen two of the other urologists but the bedside manner of the other two were so bad. They seem to have most of the market including in other close by cities so there’s little choice, and most of the other urologists also have bad ratings. If you need surgery though insist on Dr Pennanggotti he’s fantastic.
Thanking the Lord for Dr. Kamdar and the ladies of Carolina Urology! Renal cancer found, surgery 2 weeks later cancer gone! Dr. Kamdar explained everything very well and took his time to answer all of mine and my families questions. Definitely recommend.
Will not answer their phones. Something is terribly wrong with their phone system, so sad they don't care to resolve it!!!
On hold forever & told wrong information about having a scan done no one in the office knows what is going on!! Great surgeon poor office staff!!
FRAUD ALERT!!! They charged me for an appointment I did not get. They billed me and any attempt to dispute is done with billing. They are non-native English speakers and can't understand my dispute. They say it's been "validated". Closest I've gotten to solving it is to speak the a manager on site named Jennifer Sheppard. All voice-mail are left unreturned.the office staff simply forward you to her and she never answers. Been trying to fight it since January.
This practice has been amazing for my wife. She suffers from kidney stones and they have done such a great job in helping her. Thanks to all of you for your help.
I went with my husband to 2 appointments and everyone was extremely nice. Dr. Lee was amazing. I read through these reviews and was shocked. I asked tons of questions.. and he listened and answered every single one of them. I thought his bedside manner and professionalism was top notch!!! All of the staff were very friendly to us both!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
