I've been a patient for many years and have seen many providers in this practice. I've always been treated with respect and my issues have been addressed via procedures and appropriate medication. I currently see Emily Rayfield, NP, and couldn't be more pleased with my care.
DO NOT DO NOT, PROCEED AT OWN RISK.This facility takes opioid crisis paranoia to unprecedented levels and WILL invent reasons to cease patient care without notice and kick the patient to the curb with NO emergent medication to bridge the coverage gap while seeking another provider. HOW this facility can get away with such patient abuse is a matter I'm taking up with the appropriate governing organizations at both state and FEDERAL levels, because I AM one such former patient of over 5 years. Their staff also falsify patient records to such extent former patients cannot obtain care from ANY other provider of pain management services, THEY being specifically my NP provider AND the facility administrator, whose names I unfortunately cannot mention here due to pending litigation. Suffice it to say however these actions go beyond the violation of the Hippocratic oath to not harm a patient, they are CRIMINAL. I was suddenly "discharged" from the care of this facility with NO warning whatsoever on the basis of an ABSOLUTE LIE verbally presented to me over the phone by my NP, and at present I am seeking legal representation and recourse. PLEASE DO NOT SEEK CARE from this facility. They have neither an understanding of chronic pain nor empathy for those that suffer from it. This facility should be investigated for patient abuse, records falsification, fraud and PERMANENTLY SHUT DOWN. I would award ZERO stars if that was possible. And its parent organization CaroMont Healthcare, in their constant touting/advertising of how compassionate they are and how much they care about their patients, takes HYPOCRISY to unprecedented levels.
I was with the Facility for 11 years. In June, 2020 I was let go by James Harris. I had a 5 year doctor patience relationship with James. I June my car was broken into and a few days of meds were taken. I take 6 different meds. Most maintenance meds. I filed a. Police report and received a letter from the District Attorney of Gastonia that the person who broken into my car was caught. James called me about a month later telling me I was discharged from the facility because I didn't have a safe in my car to keep my meds. I was blown away. He told me to read my contract. I read my contract 11 years ago. It was a lie. Something more was going on but he stuck to his reason. The biggest problem I had was he gave me 4 days of one meds and 20 days of another. He was obligated to give me enough medicine to give me time to find another painclinic. Since August, I have had to go to the hospital 10 times but can't get help. My Neuropathy has now taken over my entire body and I'm scared.Yes, I had a few, just a few transgressions over 11 years and a few mistakes, but nothing too serious. I have recently found out that James no longer works there. My thoughts are that they just wanted to dump a lot of patience although they'll never admit it.I would encourage everyone living in NC read about the STOP Act. It's legislation that was passed by our NC Lawmakers back in 2017. Read it carefully and you will find out why we I'm severe acute pain can't get help. The STOP Act requires limitations on what doctors can prescribe and I requires additional paper work to be sent in to the authorities each time a doctor prescribes pain meds. I can't imagine many doctors are going settle doing extra paper work that hurts their bottom line when they can just simply say no to a person in severe. I've seen 12 doctors since leaving pain management. And again only 1 doctor would help me for 10 days.Doctors need to go to legislators In Raleigh and fight back with a hearing. They need to take back their ability to help people. So finally, we the patients are paying the price and we will continue too. I will be more. Than happy to testify on my struggles. Hopefully one day I can speak for you all in pain. Finally, do not go to this clinic. Thank you for. Listening. John.
Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. When you won't blindly follow what they want you to do, the Dr. states as they walk out of the room, "Im sorry we can't help you here anymore." Dr. Da'More or however you spell her name is a piece of garbage and shouldn't even be allowed to practice medicine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
