List of Darrell Freeman's Reviews
Dr Freeman will soon be doing a 2nd surgery for me. I just love his personality. He can be funny but serious at the same time!
Dr. Freeman is the best! He's honest, bright and talented. See ya on March!
Dr. Freeman is exceptional. His bedside manner, knowledge, professionalism, and caring personality just touches the surface. I was nervous when going in for a procedure and with his kindness and jovial attitude he calmed me right down. I will be going back for more work and look forward to seeing him in the office again. Everyone in this Denver office is fabulous.
I highly recommend this office, especially MD Darrell Freeman
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Freeman though I really needed his help and was open to his expertise. He was the second part of a team along with Dr. Singla that performed a MOHS procedure on me in early 2024. I have also left a review about Dr. Singla and the procedure itself if you care to look it up. Dr. Freeman came in to try to stitch the large wound that I had open and bleeding for six hours on my forehead. He has a terrible bedside manner. He made several inappropriate jokes. I’d had a long day and had even cried about some issues with the procedure. I found that he certainly cannot read the room and by coincidence told me while he was stitching up my wound that his wife often told him that and I thought wow is that true. But beyond bedside manner he did not do a good job and that’s most important! He stitched it up and within a few days it got an infection. I was given two serious, potentially life-threatening bacteria during the surgery, one of them being Mrsa. It took me over eight weeks and switching practices to get well. He tried to pull the wound together in the center but did not do an adequate job and it came open even before the infection started but once the infection started even more came open. I went to him one week after the procedure. A different doctor had told me the wound had a nasty staff infection and had sent off a culture. In the meantime I was required to see him though I did not want to and he told me he “was confident it was not infected affected and I could stop antibiotics.” That is a potentially life-threatening mistake. Had I listened to him and stopped the antibiotics, that could’ve been potentially deadly for me because when the lab results came back I did have two bacteria that were very serious and I needed to be on multiple antibiotics for almost two months. Dr. Freeman looked directly at my wound while removing the horizontal stitches, too early it was later determined, and said he was confident it was not pus he was looking at but rather serous fluid and that it was my wound trying to heal. It was a crazy amount of thick, yellow pus and he was looking right at it and said it wasn’t. I don’t trust him at all so I can have no further comment because I refused to ever see him again after that visit.

My experience at Piedmont Plastic Surgery with Dr Freeman and the entire staff was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend them if you’re considering any improvements- I interviewed 5 other doctors from this area and this staff and facility blew them away. Fantastic bedside manner, LISTENED to me, handled everything so professionally…thank you PPS!
Great experience from beginning to end! Dr Freeman, all the nurses and the reception desk employees were so informative and pleasant. I would highly recommend PPSD in huntersville!
I really like this place! Staff is always friendly, appointments start on time, and the expertise of the medical personnel and plastic surgeon is outstanding.
Saw Dr Freeman at the Huntersville location for a reduction, and his staff are friendly, caring, and top notch. Recommend! Very happy with my results and experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
