I’d be the first person to admit that I was very skeptical about having a Primary Physician at a Health Department;however, I was proven wrong about my own perception of Health Department Doctors,needless to say, I am very happy that I found some great Physician, Dr Douglas Meardon is my Primary Physcian, Dr Robert Fornash is my Physchiatrist, and my Therapist is Dr Janelle Hoover, they all are amazing and I couldn’t be more satisfied with all three of them!

Gaston Family Health Service offers medical & dental services at multiple locations in Gaston, Lincoln, Catawba, Iredell, Forsyth & other NC counties without regard to patients' ability to pay. As such GFHS is an alternative to no care or emergency only care for the 'working poor' who don't qualify for Medicaid but have difficulty affording private insurance. Patients are treated with care & respect.
