They deserve no stars. They do not care for residents there or the families of the residents. Horrible place horrible rude staff. Never take your loved ones here. Find a better place. Not clean, always smells, neglect, One of the worst places.

My husband was at this facility for a week. He had a stroke and several mini-strokes according to CaroMont Regional. I thought they were going to assist him with memory loss and confusion due to the strokes. They were only interested in his motor skills, they said that he was high functioning. I met with the team on Wed 07/14/21 by Friday 07/16/21 I was told that he was doing really good with his motor skills and would be released on Mon 07/19/21 and could come home on Tues 07/20/21. Going to this facility from the hospital was a complete waste of time. There was a smell every time I went and I did not like it. If his skills were so great, why is walking by himself worse than when he went there? Yes, I was told that his insurance believed he was doing well enough to go home, so I guess that was their go ahead to send him home. My husband still needs assistance.

Worst place ever. My mom was dying from cancer in 2017.She called me one morning from Peak Resources in tears, crying hysterically. No one would come to help her to use the restroom.When I got there, the lady in charge of the hall dismissed my mom’s trauma outright. DO NOT send anyone that you love to this place it is evil.

PEAK of Gastonia is full of heart. They are. Amazing. The CNAs Nurses and Therapists all work together to give the patients the best care possible. Short term rehab focuses on functional therapy to prepare patients for a return to their highest level possible.

My mom has been at Peak since late September. The staff are very good to her and she loves them. The staff were very helpful when I visited from Florida. Watching how they help her helps me feel better about her being there.

My mother is there now they are not doing there jobs soon as I find another place I'm moving her and bringing charges of neglect against them
