If there were a 0 star rating, he would get that. He doesn't listen to you and doesn't care if you are in pain. I have Lyme disease and fibromyalgia and my previous rheumatologist left UCONN so they set me up with this guy. I am in an increasingly amount of pain recently so I went to see him. I spend 30 minutes with his PA explaining everything to her. Then he comes in, doesn't even do a physical exam, stays at the far end of the room leaning casually against counter and tells me to just take more ibuprofen... how much I ask (as I am already taking 3,000 mg a day)?? He tells me to take 4,000-5,000 mg a day everyday as a long term solution. Anyone know what happens if you take that much ibuprofen long term? Look it up.. serious liver damage. Of course I know this and asked about increasing my current pain medication instead. He then tells me that if I want medications, I have to talk to my primary care physician... even though it's medication my previous rheumatologist prescribed. If I

Dr. Ranadeep is WONDERFUL! He listens, explains, and spends plenty of time with you during the appointment. I have been suffering with Sjogren's Syndrome and other autoimmune diseases for over 10 yrs and was in intense pain. Through His Years At Uconn Dr. Mandhadi did his best to make sure all his patients got the best care Possible. Dr. Mandhadi is caring and always went above and beyond for me and all his patients. Dr. Ranadeep Mandhadi Will be Greatly Missed At Uconn Health. Thank You for Your Many Years Of Service.

I've been seeing Dr. Mandhadi for quite awhile. He takes the time to really listen to you. On one visit he asked how I was & I told him great except for an ear infection I had & that I was suppose to fly out to California in a couple days. He went out of his way to check out my ear & got me in to see an ear specialist the next day so that I could take that flight!

Dr. Mandhadi listens to his patients and is not locked in to preconceived ideas about standard treatments. He is open and willing to try dosage/strength that patient thinks will work for his particular body accepting the possibility that the patient may know his body better than anyone else. This has been very helpful to me and prevented me from getting more medication than what I can handle. It is refreshing to find a doctor who actually collaborates with his patients. I would recommend this physician highly.
