Sunny Dental Center's Online Review Report Card

I’m not completely done with my dental work. However I wanted to come on here and give Dr. Sunny an honest review. I went in there to have all my teeth pulled because I was told by two other dentist that I don’t have enough good teeth for a partial. Dr. Sunny reassured me and told me the I absolutely do not need to have all my teeth pulled and that most of my top teeth are bad however some of them can be saved enough for me to have a partial but the majority of my bottom teeth are fine. Dr. Sunny absolutely has me feeling better about myself. I will update after I have more dental work done.

The dr was so rough while examining my mouth and also had my mouth bleeding because he cut me. The hygienist dawn was so sweet but the dr was horrible. Will never go back

Absolutely horrid. Seemed to be rushing every time we had an appointment. He was very rough while in the mouth and gave me lockjaw. I’m not at a different dentist office and found out I have fillings somewhere I shouldn’t???? It even confused the dental professionals I was with!! Would not recommend to anyone!! Horrible dental experience and I LOVE going to the dentist!

Horrible visit. The dentist asked me if I wanted braces and when I said no he asked if I already had a wife insinuating that I didn’t have one because my teeth are somewhat crooked. He also made my entire mouth bleed when he used the dental floss. Never coming to this place again!!

This place is a joke. I didn't even finish the paperwork when I canceled my appt.

Wish I give no stars, unprofessional business, money hungry, bill your medicaid double, ask you do you have money, don't accept when they are at fault , can't speak understandable English , Go some where else, bad vibes when you walk in the door.

I got my X-rays done and needed wisdom teeth pulled and another tooth pulled. He kept jamming the tool in my tooth that needed a root canal and kept saying “root canal root canal” (one of the few things I could understand him saying) told him I’d rather have it pulled since Medicaid covers that and he persisted I call family and ask for money or take out a loan etc. he tried like 12 times in 3 visits to get me to do a root canal. He filled some cavities and deep cleaned my teeth and had me leaking blood bad. Which whatever but No clean up or anything. No guaze or anything. Had to walk to reception like that. I had to ask if I needed to wait to eat or stay away from certain foods or chips and I was told no it’s fine. My teeth felt worse after the cleaning (still are more sensitive) and I kept getting chunks of filling in my mouth. I go to the appointment for the teeth removal and brought it up and was told it was my fault for being too hard on them and eating the wrong thing. I’m sitting in a room and the assistant brings the disclaimer paper in and couldn’t even elaborate on the possible complications and what they were. Dr Sunny man comes in and ignores my concerns about that and jumps straight to what teeth are we pulling? I told him the ones we agreed to last time. He had no clue and while he has his hands in my mouth is asking was it “t9?” Or something to that effect. I don’t know tooth numbers. You’d think it’d be in his chart. Then asked about a root canal again. That on top of not explaining the complications and the seemingly not knowing what’s going on gave me a very uneasy feeling. Maybe it’s because I can’t understand him and he doesn’t seem like he knows what he’s doing and the fact the fillings messed up and it was my fault some how but I had to get up and did not want him proceedings with a procedure in my mouth. They begged me to let him do it and even said “hey he’s being nice and he’s willing to accept this and do your teeth if you want to come back in the room. No way. Not happening. Dentist already don’t have a good rep but if you want the worst of the worst and want to feel like a check with no care about you then this is the place to go. Also you pay your co pay through cash app but then they don’t accept the payment so that they can send you a bill for later or however that works. There couldn’t be a shadier company out there. I was out by my car hawking up blood and stuff cause they don’t even make sure you leave in a ok state. They do what they gotta do and get paid. That’s it. This man does not know what he’s doing or doesn’t take pride enough in his work to do a good job. He doesn’t treat people like people. Serious uneasy vibes in this place and ready other reviews I’m glad I didn’t let them pull my teeth.

The lady in billing is never there when you call to discuss a bill. She's out , on break , outside taking a smoke etc..... Never returns phone call. Haven't been there in over 3 years but all of a sudden they are billing me for what ?? They can't even give me an answer. Have contacted the BBB. I believe they are frauding insurance companies.

Dr.sunny and his staff are very nice

Do not go here. My wife went here because they accepted medicaid. The dentist was very rude and unprofessional. He insulted my wife multiple times about her teeth. He's not very encouraging. She felt very judged.
