Had a terrible experience before and after

I had surgery with Dr. Gross on 722 which was a Thursday. I have attempted to call the practice multiple times since then but they have literally disconnected their phone lines for the weekend. This is unacceptable. Patients particularly postop and experiencing complications need to be able to reach at the very least an oncall nurse. I’ve never seen such apathy and negligence and am frankly disgusted. I had to make a visit the ER because nobody at CCS bothered to make themselves available. I am really and truly disappointed at the lack of care and compassion given by this staff.

I had tried to work with the office for years prior trying to schedule and complete tasks for my surgery. I eventually gave up. I started my journey one last time with Christie. She moved me quickly through the process of surgery and answered the phone and returned my call in a timely manner. My surgery was complete within 4 months while working with her Thanks Christie Dr Wilson made me feel important and comfortable. Glad I chose CCSCone bariatricsThanks CCS

Absolutely terrible services. They quoted me at 1 price and 3 months later they completely changed that price even though my deductible had not reset. When I called to say they told me it was a different price THEY COMPLETELY DENIED ever telling me the first price and blamed it on a miscommunication. No the only miscommunication was on your end. When I told the supervisor that she has misquoted me she said “Tammy doesn’t lie” and when I said she did tell me the other price I was told “Not to question her integrity”DO NOT USE CENTRAL CAROLINA SURGERY unless you want to and completely mistreated.

Terrible. I WISH I HAD LISTENED TO THESE REVIEWS Horrible I was told my surgery would be in January... it’s May and I never got a date. I completed everything that was asked of me and even paid a deposit for the surgery. The bariatric coordinator was rude to me for months and I just put up with it because I wanted the surgery so badly. The last I heard my surgeon was “doing too many breast surgeries” to fit me in. When I asked for my money back they did absolutely nothing to try to keep me on. I swear to god I have been nothing but polite to these people. They just refunded the money and said see ya. I am devastated. I wasted NINE MONTHS trying to get a surgery that they had no intention of performing. Now I’m back at square one.

I wouldn’t take a flea here for any type of service. Most incompetent office staff and doctor Dr. Chelsea Conner I have ever dealt with in my life. Please seek care elsewhere

Treat patients as if they were just objects. No personality from the staff and doctors. Doctors dont keep their word and will not contact you for months following a major surgery.

They treat people terribly. Notice how many of the reviews say the same thing. It’s not a coincidence These people really do not care about anyone. They do not answer phones and they do not return phone calls. Especially Christie Moore. Call Novant or Baptist you will be treated so much better and it will take a fraction of the time to be treated.

Wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I spent so much time and money with these people. I came here because I have had three previous surgeries by Dr Hoxworth. He is a wonderful person and surgeon but since he has retired there is absolutely NO reason to put your trust in these incompetent and uncaring people. You will never be able to reach anyone by phone and it’s a waste of time to leave them voicemails. A member of their staff admitted to me that they don’t listen to voicemail because there are too many of them I’ve never come across a medical practice that is run so poorly or where the staff care any less about their patients.

Omg my experience with this practice was a long one but only because of the Covid 19 situation but all in all my surgery was exceptional my surgeon Dr. Eric Wilson is amazing and the team here is definitely misunderstood because at the end of the day they are working hard to make sure everything falls into place which is exactly what happened for me😍
