I have been seeing Dr Willis for many years, he is the best
Dr. Willis has been my neurologist for several years. I have been a patient at Guilford Neurological Assoiates since 1978. I was lucky enough to be assigned to Dr. Willis when my first doctor retired. I have always been so pleased with this practice in every way through all these years.Being in the medical field, my first concern has always been about the physician. Those whose negative reviews about the practice complain about things about waiting and misunderstandings about the very fair rules that are complained about yet go unreported to the practice manager or any of the kind staff that will help anyone. My experiences all these years have been a warm greeting by check in and all that get me back to my physicians exam room. My wait from arrival to being taken back for the nurses to get basic info and vital signs are never more than 15 minutes. When Dr. Willis greets me and gets to work, he takes much time to listen about my health and specific problems. I have not once been rushed or failed to get all of my concerns addressed and questions answered fully. I am very fortunate to have been assigned to Dr. Willis. He is sincere, focused and the most intelligent physician I have had.
Staff is very caring
Dr Keith Willis is a very unethical physician who did not listen nor address my concerns during my consultations with him. I would not recommend anyone seeing him.
Great service and caring staff. Excellent neurologists, going above and beyond. Dr Willis is definitly recommended and well respected by his peers.
This is the worst dr ever! He never lets you speak before interrupting because apparently he knows everything already. I suffer from many painful conditions which I was diagnosed many years ago as fibromyalgia but I'm suffering from more symptomd now that are not fibromyalgia related. I'm in so much pain on certain days I cannot function. It's inhuman to make someone suffer so much. He is not concerned about pain levels. He claims its chronic and meds are addictive so he's not going to help.
He is an arrogant dr who could care less of your pain levels and finding you relief. I have asked for pain meds due to severe migraines, many a month, horrible muscle cramps/spasms that are constant and get severe. He claims its chronic conditions and the chance of addiction is high. Yet, I am unable to function on these days, many times calling his office in tears, no offer of relief. He doesn't listen and cuts you off many times with his I know everything attitude. He doesn't consider the patients needs and inability to find confort. He just allows you to suffer and is smug about it. I will say the office staff is 100% more caring than this worthless waste of an MD office occupant. I threw money away on countless visits and still have no answers on my symptoms. Yet bloodwork shows major issues with inflammation and other indications of pain. He acts like you're a drug seeker which it's obvious I'm in pain. I don't wish ill will on people, however this karma thing...he will have to face her one day!
I have many complaints but I'm doing to make it in short by saying, he likes to talk, doesn't listen, and prescriptions, tests, get forgotten as he rushes out he door. You have to push for tests to be done if you want them. I will say the office staff has been completely upmost curious and always takes their time to get to know you and smile. I love the staff at this location and have always been treated with complete respect. I wish doctor Willis would take some cues from them and give the patients the true time they deserve to be listened to. It would change a lot of my feelings about him.
Dr. Willis was new to the scene when I first started with him years ago. As an unknown, he was not my first choice, though, today, he is my only choice, in seeking a qualified doctor. There are not many doctors that will patiently take the time, to answer all of your questions, regardless of how late he is running. His answers are usually concise, to the point, reflect the pros/cons if applicable, well informed, intelligent, and specific to my situation, regardless of how batty I am.
I met Dr. Willis ten years ago beside my hospital bed in Cone Hospital. He encouraged me that he would take care of me and that my condition was treatable. With his help, my condition is under control. I'll never be like I was, but Dr. Willis is the reason why I'm as good as I am. Dr. Willis is a Great Doctor!
Dr. Willis always answers our questions that we bring. He listens, clarifies, and seems truly interested in our situation. He appears to be a type A person, thus he moves quickly, answers in short, easy to understand language and is ready to move on to the next patient if you have no more questions. We have had several serious situations where he has taken all the time needed to handle the situation for the benefit of the patient. We appreciate his professionalism and caring.
Always answers our questions. Offers suggestions on what could help with problems. A lot better doctor than the last one we had, who was a joke!
Found problem and set up treatment that others had failed to find. Excellent man. Will be his patient as long as he will have me. Can't rate a medical individual any higher than that.
I first went to Dr Willis about 6 months ago and had an MRI and he said I was fine and to come back and see him in 6 months. At my follow-up appointment I was instructed to arrive at 745 AM (that I did) then at 830AM I asked the staff in front why I was still waiting for my 800AM appointment? About 840 I was taken back and vitals and a short questionare (recent) history was taken by a medical ancillary person. I asked her why Dr. Willis was so late and she said he was just in the next room, I then asked her wasn't I his first patient today? Yes she replied about 930 AM I got up and opened the door and walked down the hall to speak with someone and they offered no explanation why I was still waiting. I spoke to the check out person and said I was leaving and Have not gone back. I am currently going to see someone else.
I have multiple sclerosis and Dr. Willis is the physician that diagnosed me with Mri, clinical, neuro test. He is knowledgable in the many ms treatments and I feel he always has my best interest when making treatment options available. His follow up on results etc. is better than any doctor I have or have had!
was admitted to Moses Cone under the care of Dr. C Keith Willis MD, neurologist. He arrived in the room with a bevy of student doctors and did a very minimal exam and ordered an MRI. I had severe tingling numbness and lack of motor control over both hands. I made the mistake of being honest with Keith Willis MD that I was on medication for depression. After 3 days of waiting in the hospital for him to return he sent a subordinate to tell me he felt it was "hysterical projection disorder". I went to another neurologist in Raleigh who conducted an ENG test which revealed it was nerve damage in both arms called cubital tunnel syndrome and carpal tunnel syndrome which required 4 surgeries but resolved the issue. This doctor stated that it was in my head. Actually it was in my nerves exactly where I told him. I suffered needlessly for two years before getting the correct answer and treatment. He is a terrible doctor that talks and doesn't listen. That is misogynist. Avoid him.
This doctor was is such a hurry to get to the next patient he spoke extremely fast and answered my last question from the hallway. I expressed concern about my liver twice during my breif appointment and he prescribed medication with a risks of liver damage.
The doc I was supposed to c called n sick and dr diplwillis fit me n and did everything to help me due to not having health insurance and explain things things n terms I could understand
