List of Christopher P Moser Md's Reviews
Someone needs to update this area for Dr. Charles Moser. He is no longer at the 45 Castro St. CPMC address. He is at 1199 Bush St, San Francisco...in a distinctly different operation. Whereas Dr. Moser is still kind and intuitive, during this " hot" period of coronavirus in the community, I have found the new staff to be sluggish and less than stellar. Spoke a month ago with the Dr. about this, a month later, still the same. Can't go in for a bronchial exam (long history of such), review meds that may not be quite as effective as they once were, get a Drs. note for work in a timely basis, answering service during mid-day won't pick up phone. I just get the impression that anyone with a cough is frightening the staff to inaction..or maybe they are just too overworked. End result is the same: need to go out of this provider to another to be seen and evaluated. Have been a patient of his for over 20 years and an disappointed to write this alert at this time. Thank you.
Dr. Moser has been my PCP since he was the attending ER doc at Davies on Castro back in the 80s and I was there with what was probably a gall-bladder obstruction. I had no insurance then, but as soon as I got some I started seeing him for all my regular checkups and other medical needs. I'm not sickly, but I am getting old, and so having a physician who knows you inside out and can communicate with you in a relaxed and friendly -- but thoroughly professional -- manner is a wonderful thing. On top of all that, he's smart as hell and is always on top of the latest developments in medicine. He's the doctor everyone wishes they had, and I hope I check out before he retires, because I don't want to think about having to go to someone else if I need medical help.P.S. His staff is always kind, competent, and on the ball, and Maura Devereux, his PA, is an excellent second in command -- a RIker to his Picard. (If you know Dr. Moser, you will know how much he would appreciate that reference.)
Maura Devereux, PA, is a wonderful healthcare provider who is part of Dr. Moser's practice. I've been seeing her for almost 2 years. My previous provider closed the practice, so I searched for another LGBT friendly practice. From my first exam, I was impressed how she combined scientific knowledge of health matters with genuine care for the whole person. PA Devereux is easy to talk to and conveys genuine empathy. As a gay male of the boomer generation, that's really important to me. PA Devereux has earned my complete trust and confidence. It's easy to make an appointment using the online portal or by phoning. For visits, I am seen on-time and delays are rare. The staff is efficient and friendly. The office is located in the Sutter CPMC Davies medical building in Duboce Triangle.
Dr Moser is a great doc. Had an unexpected medical issue while in SF and the good doctor took care of it in a flash. Highly recommended.
I absolutely love Dr. Moser! He is one of the sweetest and most gentle humans I've ever met. I feel extremely comfortable around him and that is important to me. I'd recommend anyone to see Dr. Moser - you won't regret it.Thank you for the support and care Dr. Moser and team!
Dr. Moser is a brilliant, funny and caring doctor. I am extremely comfortable discussing all aspects of my health with him. Haven't yet had to be redirected to his PA, but I assume that they are equally competent. In any case, it certainly helps that his office staff is also a pleasure to interact with. Always feel great after a visit, even when I'm not in perfect health.
Doctor Moser is an amazing man he took the time to go through all the records even when he didn't have to. His staff is amazing and I would recommend to everyone!
Dr. Moser is a wonderful man. He was at our hospital room within 15 minutes of our arrival. He is warm hearted and listens to all we had to say. He is compassionate and gentle. He helped my father, who is 86, get healthier and better after his long period of illness. His staff is wonderful and I highly recommend him to anyone in need. He is truly a great human being.
Dr. Moser is simply the BEST. He is friendly, smart, and very thorough. He takes his time with you to ensure that you understand exactly what he's telling you and he takes his time to make sure that he addresses every single thing you want to talk about during your appointment. He never makes me feel like he's in a rush or he's trying to hurry things along. On top of that, his office staff are just the most amazing group of professionals I've ever dealt with in a medical office setting. They are friendly and very helpful both on the phone and in person. If you are fortunate enough to have Dr. Moser as your PCP, you will never want to see anyone else. Appointment times have always started on time or very close to on time, even though they post a message in the waiting room letting you know that they will take their time with every individual patient which could mean that appointments run behind schedule. And it's true. They seriously take their time and make you feel heard and understood and helped, and even though they take their time, like I said, I've never waited more than 5-10 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. Truly the best doctor I've ever had.
I saw so many great reviews online about this doctor however, the receptionist was short with me, RUDE in her tone and sound like she had no time for me. Not ok Dr. Moser.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
