My friend Paula referred me to Dr. Weaver when I expressed my exasperation with my previous ophthalmologist, who did not listen to my concerns before cataract surgery or help me manage my vision situation after the surgery. That doc thought there was as one way to do everything—his way! Dr. Weaver and all of the staff at Hecker Eye Care were professional, but also very kind. Dr. Weaver listened carefully to my concerns, my vision needs, and what I wanted. He explained to me what options were available, what the benefits and risks of each option were, and helped be decide the best option for myself. I am very happy about this collaborative approach to my eye health because Dr. Weaver treated me like an intelligent adult, and the results were quite satisfactory! Instead of an unnecessary cataract surgery on my other eye, I now have new glasses the other doctor refused even to prescribe. Dr. Weaver listened to me, informed me, and worked with me for the best possible result.

Dr. Weaver has been my ophthalmologist for several years, caring for a complex problem. In addition to his excellent management of my condition, he also listens to any concerns and gives thorough but understandable answers to questions. A very nice man too!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr Weaver for several years. He is a wonderful caring doctor who takes time to explain every procedure and test result. He performed cataract surgery for me and did an excellent job. My husband and I strongly recommend Dr Weaver as one of the best Opthamologist’s our there.

I would recommend him to any person who needs a eye doctor for testing or surgery. I was very confident in his ability and ease in talking to him and asking questions. Explained everything he was going to do and expressed confidence in what surgery he was going to perform.

Dr. Weaver took over my care after a surgical mishap with another doctor. He is everything a doctor should be: competent, kind, patient, and good at explaining complex information. He has quite probably saved my vision and done so with great compassion. I can't recommend him (and his very fine team - from the front desk to assistants) highly enough.

I could not see very good and was scared that I was going blind. Now thanks to Dr Weaver not only can I see but my vision is 20/20. I had Fuchs dystrophy and fast growing cataracts. It is like see the world for the first time. No cloudy or foggy haze. Thank you Dr Weaver so much. I can never thank you enough. God bless you and your staff, who were the best. Very knowledgeable,considerate , answers questions and very helpful to patients.Was nervous about going to the Dr. but after being there it was pleasant and enjoyable.
