Dr. Karl Stonecipher's Online Review Report Card

LIFETIME "WARRANTY" IS A COMPLETE JOKE! I had Lasik at a TLC Eye Center less than 10 years ago. I was given paperwork then and assured that the huge fee paid included a 'lifetime warranty good at any TLC Laser Eye Center in the country' as long as I kept up the yearly eye appointments. Each year, my TLC-network optometrists have assured me that is still an option for me (3 optometrists in 3 locations) and that I could just go to the Greensboro location. Today, I call to schedule the consult for the revision the optometrist recommended--that she told me I was eligible for under the warranty--and they tell me I have to be entered as a "new patient" and RE-PAY all the VERY HEFTY FEES because the center I was at closed and they refuse to honor the warranty. I got Lasik so I wouldn't have to wear glasses and pay for contacts, and two years out, I'm back wearing both and they absolutely REFUSE to even consider honoring the warranty. Stay far away from this dishonest practice!

I am very impressed with and grateful for the vision care I received from Dr. Karl Stonecipher and his medical teams. Dr. Stonecipher is an excellent ophthalmologist who has a wonderful beside manner, and his credentials are outstanding. The consultation was very meaningful, and the cataract surgeries he recently performed on my eyes have given me the "gift of sight." I no longer have to year prescription eyeglasses, which I have worn since age 16 (I am now 73). I am very grateful.

Dr. Stonecipher is the absolute best in the business! The moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed immediately. Having Lasik eye surgery is a bit nerve wrecking, but my nerves were put to ease with comfort of him and his staff, Carrie and Amanda. I can not give them enough stars to show how much I appreciate them and how great my experience was. I would highly recommend Dr. Karl Stonecipher! The office was extremely clean and took all Covid precautions to make patients feel comfortable and safe! Having Lasik eye surgery was the best decision I’ve made to date, and I’m so grateful I chose Dr. Stonecipher.

It was a snap .no problems at all . I had the surgery on both eyes are different times . Very short actual surgery time . Maybe 15 minutes each eye .

Best Cataract Surgeon In Guilford County NC - I've been having problems with the sight in both of my eyes for over a year. I was diagnosed by an optometrist with cataracts. I was referred to Piedmont Eye Surgical & Laser Center in Greensboro (Guilford County) North Carolina and was seen by Dr. Karl Stonecipher. I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and patience with my questions and the same goes for the entire team in his office. Very extensive testing in the office to determine the best course of treatment - Awesome!! I had laser cataract surgery on my right eye this week at the Surgical Eye Center in Greensboro. Dr Stonecipher inserted the latest, state-of-the-art lens! Dr Stonecipher and all the team members at the Surgical Eye Center were SLIGHTLY BETTER THAN PHENOMENAL! They sedated me and completed eliminated ALL my nervousness and fear. Surgery went great and as my eye heals, the vision in my right eye is improving every day! I am certain that no eye surgeon in Greensboro, NC or anywhere else, could have done a better job than Dr Karl Stonecipher and his team. I wanted to give him 100 stars but Google limited me to 5 stars!

Fantastic experience. Dr. Stonecipher did my lasik procedure yesterday and I am 100% by today. The whole procedure took less than 15 minutes and it’s completely painless! Amazed by the results and would recommend to anyone.

The demeanor and interaction with me was beyond unprofessional. I refused to let this man touch me after he spoke to me in a demeaning and disrespectful manner. After I was in communication with Amanda in his office for at least 4 months about my surgery, I was in no way informed until 2 days before my surgery that it was not going to be Lasik and they would only be doing one eye. While that may have been ok, being told two days before surgery after having to plan this around work and another person's schedule because I need a driver, and not to mention driving from 3 1/2 hours away, booking a hotel room and spending a bunch of money to get to his office, is not acceptable. Only to get to his office after driving 3 1/2 hours for him to speak to me this way. His office should not be in business and I highly recommend staying away from him.
