List of Emergency Department - Cone Health Wesley Long Hospital's Reviews
Hour 5.5 in the ER and we are still waiting the check in receptionist was way past rude.. my husband came for severe throwing upabdominal pain. When he was initially triaged he got sick and almost passed out. When he was wheeled back to the waiting room the nurse told me that if my husband felt like he was going to get sick again for me to get the receptionist to come back and get her since they didn’t want him to fall if he passed out. When I went to alert the receptionist she didn’t alert the nurse so my husband walked to the waiting room bathroom and almost passed out again. I understand that the staff is drained and there are rude patients but we were not rude and did what the nurse asked. When she came to the waiting room to get my husband for updated vitals I did let her know because my husband was trying to get up and walk and she was legit worried about him falling out. So frustrating
My son was admitted today and had surgery for his appendix when we arrived at the hospital no one was allowed to see him and we were told to leave and come back tomorrow Never allowing this hospital to care for my family again
Went in screaming crying and vomiting due to gallbladder pain. I was informed that I would have to have emergency surgery to remove it. Every nurse I had was informative organized and patient. Each nurse treated me as if I was their own child with encouraging words shoulder rubs and frequent check ins. The surgeon and anesthetist reassured me that everything would be okay. This was my very first surgery although I was scared and nervous every worker did what they could to calm me down. Special thanks to Ayo for praying with me before wheeling me back to the operating room. Thank you Wesley Long
Have had nothing but issues since my husband was admitted they lost his bag of clothes I dropped off they don’t bite the accurate information in the system will never come here again husband came n they let him go said he had a gi big came back the next day and had to be out in icu bc he was so bad teamBaptist
Rude receptionist and no social distancing in waiting area. Will never deal with this hospital again. No one should be treated like an animal or talked down to assuming they dont have insurance before getting their information.
8 hours total for the ER staff to figure out my partners simple diagnosis. i finally went back to her triage room overnight and as I walked back the entire team was just sitting back chillin like they was on the block. i finally got to her room and noticed the IV bag had been empty for quite sometime by the looks of it i finally opened the door to her room and I was like is someone going to take her on to the next thing yall have to do? they instantly got up and came to the room then they said well we are waiting for the CT room. I spoke up and said Is that going to take another 6 hours? nurse went out for about a minute came back and said oh yeah we can take her now..... it took me seeing and intervening to get the medical staff off their behinds to do their job. no wonder this place has such crappy ratings. sheesh if there is a next time we will take the 3045 minute trip and go to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in winston
dont let construction workers work over your patient rooms at 645 on a Saturday morning especially when they havent slept all night
bad bad bad you will get more sick when you come
come to a miserable place come to get sick wait 7 to 8 hrs
Going on hour 4 in the waiting room arrived to an empty waiting area needing post Exposure treatment to a bat in the house. Staff was rude and had no clue vitals were taken but weight was not which is required to give treatment. raised concern with nurse and her understanding of why I was there was lost completely and explanation of time spent waiting was ridiculous staff seem to be on autopilot exerting bare minimum effort.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
