This office I dont know how to start describing they changed the place and when i call not bothered to answer my questions for my wifes pregenancy i have so many questions since its high risk the front office staff i spoke is very adamant and she asked for my wife as they will speak over the phone only with patient not to anyone else looks like new norm due to corona ha ha ha...
Hopefully will get a good referral to Duke thank you for all the understanding and miss information.
Everyone was so nice and helpful! I enjoyed my ultrasound even though my baby gave Alyssa a hard time. Dr. Shankar is nice and funny. Ms. Charlotte who checked me is the absolute sweetest. Everyone took their time, answered my questions and made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on.
Had an ultrasound a day ago.My first pregnancy,I was a little disappointed. She didn't even try at all because i wanted to see more of the baby or in 3d. I waited a whole month just to see how big she is..Just one or 2 photo and all done, and turns out to be the last ultrasounds needed.
EDIT 2: Unfortunately due to the horrible care I received at this office I lost both of my twins at 20 weeks. I brought up concerns when seen and called the office to address concerns and was treated terribly every time. I asked several times if I needed to be on bed rest and if I could have a restriction note for work and was never told to or given either. I brought up my blood pressure at my visits when it was high along with my pulse and nothing was done. I went into premature labor due to my preexisting issues causing my water to break. I hope no one else ever has to go through this or gets treated as poorly as I was. An OB office should not be monitoring patients blood pressure and vital signs from home out of laziness and not wanting to call patients into the office. If they don’t have the space they need to send patients elsewhere.EDIT: This is the WORST OB office you could go to. I see a new nurse every time, none of them know I’m pregnant with twins when they come in to do my vital signs and Doppler. None of them know I have a hematoma. My BP pops up high every time and their solution is to double wrap a large cuff on me until it shows up lower. I am already a high risk pregnancy as it is. Every time I speak with a nurse what they say contradicts what the other says. This is a sad excuse for a clinic and makes pregnancy ten times worse. I am actively trying to switch over to another clinic. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever. The office staff is hateful, many patients that come here English is there second language and they talk to them like dogs.I was seen Feb 6th at the MAU due to severe bleeding. Everyone was super nice at the hospital and seemed caring and helpful. I was saw by an NP named Jennifer. She confirmed that I’m pregnant with twins and have other risk factors that deem me high risk and that I required more frequent monitoring. I stated my insurance would kick in March 1st, she referred me to this practice stating they would take me private pay and that I needed to be seen before March 1st. I called the office, the receptionist was nice. She said there was a cancellation and I could come them. On my way to the practice a nurse calls me and says “I don’t know why you’re coming in today, it’s very unnecessary.” I explained to her what the NP told me and she cuts me off saying “that’s normal,” and talking down to me as if I have no idea what’s going on. I tried to explain further that the NP told me to follow up, she again cut me off and said “we don’t see people until they’re 12 weeks in their pregnancy, I spoke with the provider and they agree, I’m transferring you to the receptionist.” Then she hung up. They scheduled me to see a provider for the middle of March. Which I’m assuming is because I don’t have insurance, but was told by the NP in the hospital that they can’t deny me for that at this practice. This is my first pregnancy, plus twins, plus other complications thus far and I was treated terribly. I am a nurse myself and I would never speak to a patient like that, regardless of the situation. They need better communication as well with the MAU and the Practices.
By far the worst place I have ever experienced...i have been trying to be seen since February as a new patient. I am having complications that my PCP wants me to get checked out right a way. The first time i had an appointment the staff was extremely rude. I sat and waited in the lobby for 2hours and was never seen...they made me reschedule my appointment. I have an appointment with them this morning only to find out they rescheduled my appointment without me knowing way out for 6 weeks..smh
I came here today at 1:45pm let me tell you the worst place to go to!!! The receptionists are rude as one can ever be on the first floor and have the worst attitude. How can you work in an environment like this and raise your voice at your customers? I don’t understand what is wrong with these people that work here. Their attitude is just disgusting.
I'd give zero stars if I could. Very unprofessional and creepy. I made a complaint about the way he examined me and was told he had MANY. After a month he was no longer there and began practicing in a new state. STAY AWAY FROM THIS "DR".
They are so nice and friendly people. Even though I started my treatment with them in the middle of my pregnancy but I was well taken care of and treated like human being.
The most unprofessional place ever. The receptionists are rude and have the worst attitude, they don’t want to help you out and they even raised their voice at me for having a simple question. The doctors are also bad, my mother is pregnant with twins and is 8 months along and he won’t put her on maternity leave from her job.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
