I did not get to see Dr. Dumonski, which was disappointing, but the P. A. (Kayla) was very good; she took x-rays and I could see I have scoliosis and will be able to get treatment from a pain management specialist.

I was very pleased with the attention to detail by Dr Dumonski and his PA. They prepared me for what would be involved in my surgery and followed up with informative visits after completion of the surgery. The explanation by the PA of my spinal issues revealed by the MRI were the most comprehensive I have received by any medical professional including Neurosurgeons at Duke and Wake Forest.

In June 2020, Dr. Dumonski performed a microdiscectomy on my lower back for a herniated disc. The surgery and recovery went very well for me. 2.5 years later, I have no regrets and am so glad he was my doctor. I have not had any problems since the surgery so I couldn’t ask for more. All of his care prior to, during and after made me very comfortable, I felt well informed and he answered all the questions I had. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of this type of care.

I have been working with Dr. Dumonski since a significant back injury nearly one year ago. His professional bedside manners are excellent: listens well, considers my opinions and ideas, allots a reasonable amount of time. He was not quick to recommend surgery and, fortunately, it was not necessary in the long run. Highly recommended.
