Not recommended it’s getting worst 😒😕😕
I have seen Dr. Yates on three separate occasions since the early 2000s. First was a broken humorous in my arm, which required surgery, next a tumor in the bottom of my foot which required surgery and a couple of days ago severe pain in my knee. On all three occasions Dr. Yates found the source of the problem, fixed it and I went on with my life. He is the only doctor in my life which I have never had to see twice concerning finding the source of my pain. He is amazing! Staff could not be more helpful or nicer. The office is huge and gorgeous, but no waiting time!!
Dr.Yates is a amazing surgeon. He did my first neck surgery in 2005 where he remove a bone from my hip and fused it in my neck he did tell me that most likely in 10 yrs I would need a plate in my neck 13 yrs later I was still pain free and was doing great until I was in a accident where I was hit from the behind and cause my neck to give me trouble. But thanks to Dr Yates I'm back to my self and pain free. He has the best bed side manner and I wouldn't trust any other orthopedic. He is the best and gave me my life back more then once. God Bless Dr Yates
My son and I visited Dr Yates in hopes of getting some treatment for his autoimmune disease. Dr Yates did everything but try to help him and address the issue....saying he was depressed. It's been 20 years, since 15 that he has had this. VERY disappointing.
Disregard my previous review..this guy has no human compassion for his patients ..regardless of the pain they are suffering..I was going there when my back screwed up one weekend..I found out on Monday how much they cared!!!!!NONE !!!..you will be sorry in the end for seeing this guy!!...can you believe this idiot called me earlier today and wanted to know how I was feeling and monday would not even see me after I suffered all weekend....you can do what you want..but I would not let this guy work on my dog!!!
If your in pain bad and call to be worked in it was an emergency....forget it...your better off going to the emergency room...I'm sure this review wont get listed...they hand pick the reviews they wont you to see!!!
if you have ever herd the old saying about running up on a dog with a thorn in his foot to remove it,,,and relieve him of pain,,,that does not apply here,,you would be better off going to the emergency room if you want results!!!
Quick recovery and minimal pain, too.
Very through and detailed with me, and informed me of descriptions of the changes of my nerve from three years ago up until now and letting me look on the computer with him as well as explaining things to me . I was very pleased
Very knowledgeable but most impressive is his ernest concern for his patient. Which I believe propels Doctors to endlessly become knowledgeable of his said field of expertise.
Dr. Yates operated on my dad's hip and left him in worse condition than before the surgery. He is dismissive and literally laughed when my dad told him about his hip slipping out of place. Once he gained his composure, he told my father "You'll be fine just give it some time to heal." My dad was forced to return to nursing care, and his hip had to be operated on again to give it "time to heal" properly as Dr. Yates put it. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone especially an older person.
I am so fortunate to have been accepted as a new patient of Dr. Yates. He has a sterling reputation in this area both as a clinician and as a surgeon. Last weekend when I ended up in the ER with what was a sudden attack of leg spasms and hip pain, I was asked who my orthopedic doctor was. When I replied, "Mark Yates," the ER physician said, "You're in good hands. He'll figure it out. He always does." I saw Dr. Yates today and he had figured it out. I trust him completely.

He went in and fixed my herniated disc with (ahem) surgical precision...tiny incision, quick clean recovery.
Excellent! He's on point, knows what he's doing and he listens to what you have to say. I rate him as the best.
Loved Dr. Yates knowledgeable, direct, and no nonsense way. The surgery went great and I feel great. He gave wonderful attention at the hospital and office and has a great sense of humor. Highly recommended.
Great Dr! Went in and couldn't walk because of a blown out disc. 3 months out of surgery and feel like a new man. People can say what they want this guy knows his stuff. Dr Yates saved my life! If I ever need another fusion in my spine he's the only dr for me.
Dr. Yates was clear in explaining my problems, showing MRI and Xray images, described where the problem existed and how it would be fixed. There was no question what needed to be done. Even side effects were quickly and clearly explained.
Dr. Yates is a typical doctor: kind of rude, rushed, and a bit arrogant. If you are looking for a sympathetic doctor who will spend time with you, look somewhere else. He spent about two seconds reviewing my MRI and said basically, "oh well, you are going to have to live with the pain." I found another doctor, a local neurosurgeon, who was much better and provided surgical relief.
