Dr Foster reversed a colostomy in July 2020 as a result that f this I have had 3 abscesses from the procedure and I still have a hole in my stomach from the surgery to this day. It's only when I was irate and frustrated at my last visit that he decided to send me to a specialist who found out that I have a hole in my colon. I am scheduled to have another surgery in October. Why didn't he suggest this 6 months ago when he saw that the wound was not closing in my stomach? I felt that he didn't give this matter the attention I deserved. My life has been on hold since July 2020 unable to work, enjoy summer activities such as swimming and the list goes on. Sometimes it felt like I was a burden when I come to see him. He would spend maybe 5 minutes with me and send me on my way until next appt. His nurse Felicia was always pleasant. Dr Foster has been a doctor over 30 years. I trusted him to take care of me and he did not. Now I have to have another surgery so my life will be on hold again!!

I’ve accepted referrals of his mistakes and tried to communicate logically regarding healing needs; but met only w old fashion physician resistance, arrogance, and uncaring disregard. This physician needs to retire.

His staff waited the day before my appointment to tell me they didn’t accept my insurance. I could have found a different surgeon two weeks ago. Thanks

Dr Foster performed emergency surgery on my mother some years back when a colonoscopy turned into a perforated colon. He was wonderful. Gave us all the information we asked for and could not have been nicer. When my husband was diagnosed with a hernia, our primary dr sent us to Dr. Foster. We could not have been happier. He is great!

I had to have emergency surgery earlier in the year to repair a burned hole in my colon that was caused by another doctor. Doctor Foster did the surgery in the middle of the night, saved my life and repaired my colon like new! I am very thankful! He is a wonderful and caring doctor!

I was very nervous about my appointment and surgery but after meeting Dr. Foster and his nurse my mind was at ease. they answered all of my questions and told me what to expect. Also, my follow up/post-op appointments were great. I will be recommending Dr. Foster to my family and friends.

I couldn’t ask for a better doctor! He gets to the point without beating around the bush!!! I was in and out and a very timely manner!! I would recommend this doctor to everyone!! The nurse was awesome and both of front desk ladies was very sweet also!!

Dr. Foster is an excellent surgeon, very knowledgeable,easy to talk to and to understand. His reputation is one of the best surgeons in North Ms, and I can see why.His staff is always very helpful and always polite.I have always been treated like part of a family at his office. I highly recommend him and appreciate the care they give.

This doctor has a very poor bedside manner. Im not even sure how he performs surgeries, since he literally closes his eyes while speaking “down” to patients. He is very dismissive, condescending, has zero empathy, and just outright unfriendly. The front desk girl was friendly and courteous, but his LPN is as rude & judge mental as they come.
