I have found Dr. Athar to be very knowledgeable, compassionate and patient. She takes time to answer all of your questions and cares about her patients as a whole.
FYI This office informed me that Dr. Athar is no longer there. Dr. Athar might be a perfectly fine practitioner if still practicing somewhere,
Dr Athar is only concerned with herself. Can not answer questions AT ALL!!!! Never returns phone calls, tells her assistants to tell the patients "it's not my problem, tell them to call their primary physician". Really??? She is a terrible Parkinson's Doctor and is in NO way a specialist, she spends 5 minutes with a patient and makes them feel like they are bothering her, I would Not recommend her to empty a trash can!!!!!
When asked questions some wete ignored. Couldn't answer some questions. Have been 3-4 times and waited at least an hour each time. Explanation for not knowing how to help me: "you're a hard case". Does not listen. I felt hopeless each visit. I have been able to find out more about my health problems on reputable websites than I have from her.
