Woke up the morning of my appointment with no doubt gout in my left foot. Already seeing Dr Skalak that day for pain in my right knee. First impressions of Dr. Skalak was he smiles, he looks at you and he talks to you. Not all doctors do! Although my appt was for my right knee, I was experiencing horrific pain in my left foot. He talked to me about it and gave me a shot of prednisone in my left foot area and have received ALMOST immediate relief. He also gave me a shot in my right knee. It the day after and not much relief Yet. I'm told it takes a couple of days for knees. Anyway I liked Dr. Skalak and would recommend him highly.

Other than running late often, I know he’s treating other patients. Dr. Skalak is top notch. Knowledgeable, educated, personable and direct. I’m happy he was my choice for hip replacement!!!
