He is ok but like the other people said he dismisses how you feel. The office though is HORRIBLE. Heaven forbid you need to reschedule an appointment and give them plenty of notice. Better look for a new doc

Dr. Yip is fairly intelligent in his field, however the office staff, policies, etc. are horrible. I called having asthma symptoms (I usually am only seen once a year) and they refused to see me as they said I had a no show appt. When I told them I never had and it must be a mistake on their end they said they couldn't see me and to go to the ER.

If I could give a lower star, I would. He was by far the worst doctor that I have seen, and he consistently invalidated my concerns and symptoms when I saw him by myself, but immediately changed his tone when my husband came for the next visit. Completely awful, to the point where I felt like my only option was to see him with my husband present.

I have been seeing Dr. Yip as long as he has been in Wilmington and refuse to go to anyone else! Excellent Doctor, very thorough, great listener, great personality, and cares for his patients! I travel “home” and make sure I make my appointments to see him when I’m in town. I wouldn’t travel 5 hours just for a mediocre doctor! I highly recommend Dr. Yip for all of your allergy and asthma related concerns & issues!

I have been seeing Dr. Yipp for over 12 years now. He is and always has been an AWESOME doctor and a special person. Very caring and when you're with him you have his full attention.
