I recently moved full time to the coast and was in need of a good primary care physician. I could not be more pleased with my choice of Dr. Walter Wardell. He gave me his undivided attention and spent a huge amount of time asking questions to get to know my needs and concerns. I was seen almost immediately. The staff was awesome. I found Dr. Wardell to be warm, genuinely interested in his patients, professional and easy to talk to. So happy with my choice!

Dr. Wardell genuinely cares for his patients. He listens well, ask questions and doesn't dismiss small concerns. He even called on a Sunday morning as a general follow-up!

I just moved to NC from FL and have been under Dr's care for years. I chose Dr Desantis, but by the timet my appt came(a month later) my appt was with Dr Wardell.I have gone to an Internist before who was able to prescribe pain medicine and all other necessary medications including anti-anxiety medication. Dr Wardell seems reluctant to do this. I am now in constant pain which doesn't help my anxiety either! I don't know what to do. All the pain mgmt Dr's are booked and too far anyway. HELP!!!
