Had it not been fir Dr. Bryan, I would literally be blind. 90% of my optic nerve was gone, due to glaucoma, and he was able to stop the deterioration. He has a gentle manner and is very good at explaining details.

I had two different ophthalmologists at Asheville Eye Assoc. and was never satisfied. I was treated like another another cattle in the corral. I switched to Dr. Bryan ( Carolina Ophth.) and he performed both my Cataract surgeries. Great experience!!

This is my second or third trip to Carolina Ophthalmology-I walked in this AM without an appointment but with a major concern for my L Eye. I waited a very minimal amount of time and Dr. Bryan was kind to fit me into his busy schedule. He was very thorough with both eyes and reassured me about my L Eye. I found everyone there to be kind, respectful, helpful, and professional. Dr. Bryan’s warmth and knowledge was appreciated and I am grateful. I would definitely refer friends and family.

I have been seeing Dr. Bryan for about a year and have been very satisfied with him, and his staff. I give him 5 stars. Everyone at that office is very friendly and helpful.

Personable,friendly, great office staff. I’ve had three appointments with Dr Bryan; two at his office with less than a 15 min wait and one for my cataract procedure at the Surgery Center with an hour wait before entering pre op. The surgery could have gone better. My cornea was scratched during the procedure causing considerable pain afterwards. His explanation was ‘many eye drops were used’ (during the surgery). I also acquired a small bruise under the eye socket which was not explained.

CR. Bryan is fellowship trained for glaucoma care. He has been treating me for several years now, so I see him twice a year. He is a caring, smart guy. I know I am in good hands. He has a nice bedside manner, and I trust his skills.
