Dr. Brooks does not need to practice medicineHigh infection rate and horrible care.When you turn around and leave a patient room leaving that patient with more questions than answers that is just not acceptable. I will never return to this practice or any emerge ortho site

I had a total knee replacement done by Dr. Brooks. I will first say that I think Dr. Brooks is a great surgeon. The procedure went as expected and I am healing up just fine. Their pain management has been a complete disaster. They do not have any interest in helping with pain management past what they deem as necessary. I fall in the younger category for knee replacement and for whatever reason the pain in younger people tends to be higher than in older patients from what I’ve been told. I can say that my pain has been very bad for three weeks now. I cannot sleep much and they will not prescribe any pain medication to help manage my pain during the night. I do have pain medication to take during the day but if I take that to help the pain while I sleep I run out early and they will not prescribe additional medication early. I am taking more Ibuprofen Tylenol and Alieve than my stomach can handle all with no success. I am very frustrated and I would not recommend Emerg Ortho for knee surgery if you have any concerns about pain management during recovery.

Dr. John Weisenheimer Hicks when told on my visit that I was to have a simultaneous endo colonoscopy by Dr. Varner said for me to tell him he bet he could not put a penny on the end of his scope and make it all the way through so much for tolerating the pain of an 81 yr old May he Live Long and Prosper never get Osteoarthritis

I have been seeing Dr. Brooks since I was in my 40s. I am now 69. I guess that tells something. Dr. Brooks is a wonderful caring Doctor. I have had issues with my knees shoulder. hands and hips. He has helped me greatly. Dr Brooks is a very good surgeon.

Friendly and professional staff. Very short wait for my appointment. Dr. Brooks is very personable and took the time to listen to my concerns. He explained very well what’s going on with my knees recommend exercises I can do to make them better.It’s my second visit to this office the first one was for a cut off finger a couple of years ago.I am convinced that I could not have gotten better treatment anywhere else.Thank you
