Pardee Hospital's Online Review Report Card

My MIL was discharged after a night in the hospital for severe stomach pain in vomiting, told that the pills would help her feel better. Once she is home she gets a call from the doctor that, lo and behold, they caught something on the cat scan the radiologist had missed the night before and she may have a bowel obstruction. My MIL was in so much pain she could barely talk or move; got her back to the emergency room on doctors orders to have to wait over an hour for a room. While an hour isn’t as long as other’s waits, this is after being told to come back in and she was is unbearable pain. Needed desperately to lie down, and when I asked the nurse, she got snappy with me (as if I was being rude to her) and told me there were no beds open. Well, when they finally brought her back to a room, every other room and bed around her was 100% available. Not sure why she was made to wait when there was availability?? Just seems cruel and unnecessary.

No privacy provided during my stay, my body was exposed in the hallway with patients, hospitals staff of all kinds, and patient family members walking by. Again when receiving medication application, no privacy body exposed to everyone. Medical information covered that was personal and everyone heard. I work in the medical field and I have never witnessed this sort of treatment. I wasn’t the only one, the patients around me experienced the same thing. Regardless of the difficult times we are facing as health care providers, we still have an obligation to our patients to protect their privacy and dignity! Shame on you pardee hospital.

The E.R is a joke..

My wife and I have been waiting over 9 hrs and still waiting to see a doctor. If there was a rating below 1 star I would check that instead . They do not desearve 1 Star rating.

This ER Department is not equipped for emergency care. If you have a real emergency go to Mission Hospital in Asheville.

This is probably the worst hospital my gf and I went to, she had a headache for the past 2 weeks and didnt see us for 3½ hrs we had to leave because of how long it took. And then comes to find out 2 elderly couples were waiting 5 hrs maybe longer. Then to top it all off, on lady got special privilege all because her son worked there that's not fair she needed to wait like everyone else. idk who reads this but this seriously needs to be handled otherwise more reviews like this will be seen but patients or potential patients

estuvimos 3 horas esperando me atienda. mi pies derecho esta inflamado cuando mi Esposo le pregunto a la Enfermera del frente, la respuesta fue!tener un pies inflamado no es una emergencia. platicamos con una senora de edad, y nos comento que ella estaba esperando desde hace 8 horas!!!!realmente ese Hospital de Emergencia es un DESASTRE!!!

Been here since 8 am and now it's 20 to 5 pm and the er is slow all my mother needs is antibiotics that the hospital can give and wasted a full day waiting I thought mission was bad pardee is getting just like them and trh get people that will keep the flow going and doctors that thinks about The people in need instead of themselves I used to like this place when i brought my dad but unless something is done I will consider going to sc if needed my time is just as important as the doctors just saying

I brought my husband here this morning at 10:20 with heart issues after convincing him to let me bring him.... We've been sitting here in the waiting room for 5.5 hours and still not been seen other than EKG and blood work.... This is obserd!!! No results, no communication🤬🤬🤬🤬

This is the worst place ever save yourself some time and go anywhere else. You will die of old age In the waiting room before anyone helps you. I repeat please don't go here it's the worst.
