after seeing the doctor for approximately 8 minutes I spent three months visiting PAs and trying to get ahold of anyone in Dr Krenzel's office..Ms Ramsey,, his scheduler, would not ever return my phone calls ..my surgery was called off three times due to my blood platelets not up to the Doctors requirements, on the last cancellation, Ms Ramsey informed me the Doctor would not see me again and I should ...

Scheduled surgery with this MD, disrupting my life. PA failed to advise of holding medication one week prior to surgery, surgery was canceled. Attempts to reschedule surgery were ignored. Surgeon wold not respond to emails but had PA respond. Will never go back!

Dr. Krenzel provided me a second opinion for what was an already scheduled full hip replacement by another local area surgeon. He viewed the provided MRI and confirmed stage one AVN of the right hip. Next we had a lengthy conversation in which he requested that from the beginning I explain in detail the when what and where my pain began. Brian’s willingness to listen to my chain of events over the course of six weeks causing my now non weight bearing pain (hip flexor) and how to address it. I quote “AVN may get you a new hip someday, but not today”! He scheduled my physical therapy there at OC to begin 7 days later on February 24th (4 days prior to the would be surgery) and in three weeks I returned to work and feel amazing! *December 3rd to February 17th in pain on crutches and out of work pending a full hip replacement surgery. Thank you Brian for listening and taking the time to understand the cause and treating it and not performing unnecessary surgery on the symptom!

I believe Dr Krenzel is a good surgeon but surely lacks in bedside manner. He is arrogant and boastful. During my appointment in July he was just rude and at my appointment in February, he mentioned “at your age” 3 different times. I have no problem with my age but obviously he does!
