This office is grossly understaffed. One person at the front desk to handle both check ins & check outs. The line was out the door when I entered and stay that way the entire time I was in the waiting room. The worst thing was that most patients are quite elderly and disabled. The woman manning the front desk was working as quickly as she could, but between registering new patients, updating patients ...

I moved to NC just over two years ago. My transplant hospital referred me because he was close to my house. For two years it's been absolute dreadful to call the office, or have to go into the office. The staff is the laziest I've had the displeasure of seeing. In 28 years of being a transplant patient, this office is by far the laziest and unintelligent group I've witnessed. Then I realized after some time that it all starts at the top. Everytime I tried calling for help, the office or the doctor said he wouldn't help. That's when I realized that the laziness starts at the top and flows down from there. Last week I had my blood taken out of my tendon in my knuckle. That should be enough said right there about their incompetence. This is a place you come to if you're going to die. If you want to live a long healthy life with kidney disease, this is not your office or your doctor. My father even fired them like I did today. Take your chances if you'd like, I myself intend on living much longer and found a doctor that will help me with that. And I don't even have to worry about a lazy incompetent staff!!!

He is currently treating my mother. He and his staff were wonderful. Dr. Pisel came by the hospital every day to check on my mother and took time to listen to her, answer questions and reasure her. I could not ask for better treatment.
