List of Oscar F. Florendo Jr's Reviews
My husband and my parents were patients of this “doctor” in his Highland office. He was also the primary doctor for several more of my elderly family members. More than once there were issues with his care for them causing great concern for the health and welfare of my family. While I encouraged them to seek other care, they would say, But he is so nice”. In my opinion, nice does not equate to what I consider adequate medical care. Diagnosis was extremely vague in several cases, and delayed treatment of critical conditions. In one case a diagnosis of Fatty Liver Disease progressed to Stage 4 liver failure within 4 years with no evidence this “doctor” did anything to slow its progression. I have little respect for him and his practice and hope others will consider this before choosing him as their primary care doctor. I am genuinely grateful that his practice in Highland was very suddenly closed as my family members were given only weeks notice and forced to change doctors. July 2021
Very pleasant Dr. Listened to me and spent time with me and showed compassion.
Been seeing him since 2007 and I am 100% satisfied, Nurses perfect. Receptional needs attitude adjustment.
Best Dr. I have ever seen. He listens, he cares and he TAKES HIS TIME! I was sick recently with strep throat and the office staff got me in the same day. Florendo treated me quickly and accurately. Staff has always been kind and straight forward. I recommend this doctor to everyone who will listen! A+++ Impressive!!
I get great medical care by my doctor. He always has a infectious smile that makes you feel a little better. The nurses are nice however receptionist and office manager could use some extra training.
This doctor is great but his office help is bad. It's hard to get in touch with the lady that does the phone and front desk.she is also very rude. I think Dr. Florendo should hire a younger more upbeat friendlier person for this because this is the person you see when you walk in and also the person you talk to when you need your doctor. If she is not reliable then it's hard to see him. It takes me two days to get her on phone and sometimes I have to go to office and tell her I have been trying to call all day. It really sucks that he runs his office like this or that the girls in front runs his office like this because he is a nice doctor
Dr. Florence does not really listen to you when you try to talk to him. He is not reliable and is hard to get in touch with. He only has office hours 4 days per week which is unsatisfactory.
First visit was promising. Thereafter, I felt that he wasn't all that interested in providing me medical care. As important, the front receptionist is the most rude person I have ever met. She should be fired promptly.
After nearly 2 years of seeing Dr. Florendo, I am so frustrated with him and his staff, I would like to scream. He does not respond in a timely fashion to requests for prescription refills. In fact, the pharmacy usually must make repeated requests before we get results. I scheduled an appt for a physical once and all Dr. Florendo did was listen to my heart & lungs and then sent me on my way. I don't call that good medicine!
He is one of the most attentive and through doctors I have see in my lifetime. I am 66. He is extremely attentive to your overall healthcare needs and considers your Complete and total well being, not just your symptoms! It's been a long time finding one of the Best! Our entire family has switched to him and we are Blessed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
