List of Brandon C. Whiteside's Reviews
Went in for IPL & Expression. They damaged my eye, abrasion, bright red…now on steroid/antibiotics from another doctor. It was clear they really don’t understand dry eye/MGD/Ocular Rosacea. Plus inexperience led to them damaging my eye. I asked for a credit for that procedure…they refused. They offered a credit for a future IPL procedure which there is no way i am going back for. Staying clear of this practice.
Dr. Whiteside is very professional, knowledgeable , personable and gives clear explanations about everything. The office personnel were all very knowledgeable as well as helpful. I highly recommend this practice and will not hesitate to recommend the practice to anyone that asks.
Dr Whiteside has been my ophthalmologist for last 4-5 yrs, including cataract surgery that I had recently. Professional and efficient with his time and mine. Answers my questions and concerns. I’ve always been able to schedule an appointment when I needed. Office staff is always polite and personable.
I have been a patient of Dr. Brandon Whiteside's for several years. As many other reviewers have shared, it is true that sometimes the wait to ultimately see the doctor can be long. I promise you, they don't want patients to wait very long either. It's just an unfortunate consequence of some patient's needs take longer than others, and that is very difficult to account for in the scheduling process. I was treated so nicely and carefully this week (2 separate visits) for an inflammation of my cornea that I just HAD to come write a review. I had come to the practice for an eyeglasses issue - and special shout out to Misty in the optical center - she rocks!!!!! - and I was told that I needed to see the doctor for my eye because it was so red and teary. I have no vision insurance currently, but the office worked with me to my great satisfaction. Dr. Whiteside diagnosed my issue, prescribed the appropriate medication (two different eye drops), saw me for the follow-up and even helped me with a sample for my contact solution. Again, excellent service deserves recognition and I want to thank Dr. Brandon Whiteside, Misty in the optical center, and the entire business office staff for working with me to come to a financially feasible solution to my painful eye problem. I am all better and I hope this practice continues to work to improve their customer satisfaction scores because I know they want what is best for their patients.
Today, I went to see Dr. Brandon Whiteside for a first time visit. I have T-Cell Lymphoma and had a recent stem cell transplant. I also have seasonal allergies. I get tested for Covid once a month because I’m high risk and all have came out negative. Thank God!! One of the conditions that you may develop after a transplant is eye disease and my right eye has been giving me some trouble. Today, I coughed to many times in the office, so Dr. Whiteside said I could not seen. He didn’t ask any probing questions about why I might be coughing. Not even those screening questions or take my temperature. I really hope it’s not because I’m an African American female and we know that African Americans have more likely to get Covid than other ethnic groups. Just something to think about before making a eye doctor selection. Please read other reviews on different websites. I wish I had before I went.
I had a mediocre experience here; Dr. Brandon Whitesides was less than ideal to work with since he lacked bedside manner, reassuring advice and prompt response. The nurse was also a 2 out of 5 as it appeared she was inexperienced. I wanted to like this practice but it turns out that I find better care elsewhere.

I had a really good experience with Dr. Brandon Whiteside. He performed surgery on my eyes, and called to check on me. His staff was very professional and friendly. All my concerns were addressed. I definitely recommend him for eye surgery.
Fantastic experience - Dr. Whiteside truly cares about the patient experience and listens attentively to understand the needs and questions of all patients.
I had a positive experience here. The doctor was pleasant and thorough. Will definitely go back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
