List of Ralph N Vick's Reviews
Dr Vick is a good listener, easy to talk to, and has a sense of humor. Staff sometimes struggles with following through. I can deal with that for Dr. Vick.
Shout out to Van at Dr Vicks for going above and beyond to help us! I have seen a big improvement with communicating with this practice. I’ve always been happy with these doctors and staff.
Excellent doctor very patient very knowledgeable I highly recommend
It's his bedside manner that is terrible. The only reason I go is Lindsey McCormick.
Very quick to take your money for procedures. Don't expect ANY post-op care as this guy doesn't give a darn. I've had tons of complications from a procedure and the lack of care is shocking. I've never had a practice so uncaring in my life. You could probably find a more caring practice in the classifieds.
Personable, friendly, direct -couldn’t ask for more from a Physician
Vasectomy took 10 minutes, one week recovery. Two months post op and I cannot detect a change in anything. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, the entire staff is very helpful. Would not hesitate to do it over again.
NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! PLEASE, PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY!!!! Dr. Vick in the Huntersville office is a HORRIBLE provider of care. He shows no compassion, respect or courtesy for you as a patient. I left this office in tears feeling humiliated and insignificant for the way he and his staff treated me. And to this date, do you think they have bothered to follow up or check in on me? No!!! And they won't because they don't care!! There is no money in phone calls and following up on a patient. He is all about the money and orders unnecessary testing that does not benefit you or him for coming to a diagnosis to resolve your issues, and I got this straight from the providers mouth. They thought it is was funny that the testing they sent me for did not show any progression or improvement of my disease!!! Really?!?! Please, please do you due diligence before choosing this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE provider. I don't want anyone else to experience how horrible this man will make you feel.
October '16 visited with bladder issue which was determined to be prostate related. During MRI readings a 4.6cm renal tumor was found on rt. kidney. Renal cancer was removed robotically. One-third of rt kidney was removed and tumor was malignant. Follow--up yearly scans have found no cancer. Prostate laser surgery was performed in August '17. All went well and all equipment functions perfectly. Dr. Vick and entire staff became like family during my twelve month journey. I could not recommend any higher to anyone needing a urologist.
Dr. Vick and the entire staff were absolutely outstanding. I had a vasectomy and was in and out in like 45 minutes. I coulda done this on a lunch break. Virtually zero pain (I mean theres about 2 seconds of pain when getting a shot to the junk but none after) and I needed zero pain killers during recovery. It seems like theres some negative commenting about bedside manner (everyone was extremely nice to us), and follow up phone calls etc., but maybe I’m just not a person who expects/desires those. Get in, get out, keep me safe. I could not possibly be happier about my experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
