I do want to say thank you for being open on a Sunday. But I made an appointment for 12 o’clock. Here it is 1:38 and I still haven’t been seen. When I went in and asked the front Dess she said it’s by check in time, so what is the point of making an appointment?

I normally don’t write reviews, but todays visit deserves one. I have been a patient here, for probably 7 years now. I am also a self pay patient. Today I was charged $189 for my visit ! For what you may ask? To walk in the door, and see a provider, for maybe 10 minutes. If there is anything extra to be done, you are charged more for them. If I need a $20 shot, that should be included in that $189 visit. They have doubled in cost, but offer nothing more or new. The staff however, they are great! There has been many people in and out of there. I guess if they can treat their patients this way, I am sure they treat the staff the same. Shameful!! If you want the same provider and an affordable health care option, this place is NOT for you!! Thank you to the girls that are still hanging on. You make the place bearable. Hopefully they don’t leave too.

I have been going to MedFirst at 609 Richlands Hwy in Jacksonville for a couple of years now. Angela Biggs is my new Primary Care Provider. I have VA Community Care, and have never had an issue with MedFirst. I have issues with the VA, but that's another review entirely. Angela is thorough and is genuinely interested in my health. The Staff there do a great job under difficult situations. I'm definitely going to miss Angela if and when she leaves, but Allison is there to hold up the place in the event of a catastrophe. I wish the VA was like Med First.
